Ok. I would be so up for an #order ID tracker so we can trace his market cap and hash availability. Would bring more light to the situation. Probably could set up a google form with a fusion table if peeps are interested.

For the record I have some of his stuff, but trying to lay out if it warrants additional investment.

There was a rare sighting of an X11 mod recently (Huh). So I added a data package to the sample data dropdown on the calc that is comparable to the cost of an Anniversary Package + the DualMod (4 x11 Mod M2s in the sample data) if they come up again and you're curious to see how it performs.

Any one know if you can purchase your own stuff through the referral? Or do you need to setup an alternate account for that?

According to few people at #ltcgear channel, Chris did tell them once that doing like this is violating the affiliate system and could be resulted in your locked account.
To be sure go to #ltcgear channel @ webchat.freenode to ask a few senior members there.

Any one have an estimate of how much "scrypt" power Chris has? I have been tracking order number generation and trying to estimate his total market cap (just to see if this thing is legit since I have no hardware pics). Depending on how you do order number to MH/s it can get scary quick.

Another good chunk of info, some shrewder than I users have identified some of the payouts as one of (if not the biggest) litecoin solo miners:

Let's not scam the referral system Tongue. Just share a bit of it with someone else. It can easily disappear if this becomes common.

+1 I entirely agree, the affiliate system is there to promote the website and products and not for using it on your own purchases.

They go back out of stock so fast because someone is running a script that scans every 10 sec for in stock.  He scoops them up.

I think someone buy it to resell it and make $$ out of reff.  that very smart move.

In my opinion this is a good thing, It opens up LTCgear for people who can't afford to buy 160Mhash at once  Smiley

Yep but somehow too much stores. It could confuse the newcomers. And beware of scammers too. If we could have a list of "trusted" resell stores, it could be nice.

Also, I can never see them in stock anymore. I do not want to purchase less than 1600 shares at a time so being constantly out of stock hurts me. Sad

It's probably towards the negative side IMO...

1. Selling 1MHs of hashpower seems a bit unethical (?) to me... they are probably better saving a larger lump sum and get the next gen product and gain much more.

2. The main reason is, no one really knows how "share age" works... so if i sell you something, i have no idea if you're buying brand new shares or 3 month old shares...this is something he really needs to explain (if he has it figured out).

Does the 'Order ROI Tracker' take into account share multiplications?
