Still not paid here but just realised my new LTC wallet address was copied in wrong. He should still send to my BTC instead though right?

Not if you have LTC selected as your coin payment... probably will have to mail him, but i would imagine it might take a day or two for a reply with the multiplication tomorrow.

Or it'll be added with next weeks payment Wink

Perhaps that is what will happen with my first weeks payment that didn't go out because I had "Scrypt-N" selected without the VTC address.  I now how BTC selected and the BTC addy.  3200 Shares.   I've emailed him explaining the situation and am patient to wait a week or so.

Glad this forum is not receiving any FUD like over at LTC forums

I dunno, I forgot to fill out an address for about 3 weeks (yes I am an idiot) and while Chris said I'd get the payment it never really happened and that was a month ago.  After I filled it in I got all the payments so so far I've been reasonably satisfied but if you didn't select the right thing I'm not sure the system always knows that it has to backpay you.

Since I had a LTC address in, it got paid to it.  The shares I bought don't even mine VTC so I was good to go since I had a LTC addy.

Am I wrong for getting a little paranoid about the time that the maintenance is taking to complete?  Was this the same for the last maintenance periods?

done now

6th multiplication done

Hi,

The 6th multiplication is done. Based on Litecoin network difficulty variation over last one and a half month (from 33k to 41.5k) and available resources, multiplier factor was set to 1.25.

Kind Regards,
Chris

 nice and thank Chris

So, do we get paid for the first 5 or 6 days based on our old number of shares and only 1 or 2 days on the new number of shares? Or, could we be so lucky as to get paid for the entire week based on the new number of qASIC shares? (open question for anyone who might have some insight)

AFAIK you will get credited with old shares until Monday, and with new shares from Tuesday to Thursday.
That means 4 days (old shares) + 3 days (old shares + multi shares + the new shares you might buy).

Someone corrects me ?

With BTC on the rise and LTC at historic lows (in relation to BTC), what are people choosing for payouts? Is now a good time to take a couple payouts in LTC?

Well.... it depends on what type of faith you have in LTC to reverse it's course... me, not so much.. mostly i'm taking BTC, when VTC ends/switches algo, i'll take some partial payments in DRK just to build up a stash as it seems like there's still market interest in it...

Don't you think litecoin will go up? Also what is the last day we can switch coin choice?

Personally, I have doubts about LTC... I think they were smart to mostly "sit out" the alt-coin boom and not chase every feature that was coming out.. i.e. POS, etc.

But, it still seems in general (at least from an outsider point of view), they are still happy with just trying to be the "silver to bitcoin's gold"... the development track just seems to be to follow the incremental changes that bitcoin makes...

While conceptually the approach is ok, LTC just hasn't been following BTC in terms of investment and adoption... I don't follow BTC news like a hawk, maybe just check in once a day to see if anything major is going on... What i've seen consistently is VC investment in BTC projects, merchant adoption, etc... I just don't see much if any of that happening with LTC...

The only coins i'm interested in long-term right now are, of course, BTC & DRK as my speculative one. I have a sentimental attachment to DRK as I was mining it pretty early on, plus I just think the dev seems like a straight shooter...  while the anonymous coin thing has come and gone in terms of significant hype, I do think that as BTC continues to go more mainstream, there will be demand for another coin in the "dark markets" looking for something that isn't being watched as closely as BTC will be... I have no idea if DRK will be THE ONE... but I think it's good speculative coin.

If you have DualMODs and are on VTC, some news from the devs on the algo switch:

https://vertcoin.org/wp/development-update-and-stealth-address-code-release/

"In terms of Lyra2RE development, wallet integration is well on its way, we are currently ironing out any problems and hope to fork before the end of the year, potentially as early as mid-December. This means that the only thing holding us back is the lack of a working GPU miner. Once one is created we can go full speed ahead with the fork."

I saw that and was quite relieved we will get another month or so on VTC for DualMODs

All,

I was wondering if any one could supply me with a dump of the tweets from @LTCGearCalc? I dont have a twitter and refuse to get one....

Trying to correlate growth rate and availability of LTC Gear products, by cross referencing when stuff is available and when it is not. Right now I am forecasting a growth rate of 5 GH/s / day. The cash flow seems to be on the order of magnitude of $25,000 / day in CAPEX. That boils down to $8-9MM in CAPEX growth / year. Pretty darn high. I just need some better data to filter with. I want to correlate growth over time to cash flow etc.
