I had some success last year selling litecoins on ebay.  lucky i never got scammed is anyone else still doing it?

I also got about double the price of litecoins for ebay auctions compared to market rates

But i stoped when the prices crashed hoarding now.

I heard they came up with a special category for crypto, but I never got round to checking it out. I don't know if, or how they got round the paypal charge back problem though.

Actually, I hardly use eBay at all now. Only when I need to buy something special; never to sell.

They now have a Virtual Currency category, but they are selling mining hardware there in addition to coins.

I seemed to have read somewhere that you can't sell crypto coins on eBay anymore, but you can sell indirectly though eBay with the classified ads they now have. Lots of people trying to sell coins that way. As for the auction and buy it now format, I think only equipment and mining contracts are technically allowed. So if you managed to sell coins and someone turns in an auction for actual coins after you sent the coins, I wonder what would happen.

Even with the fees it was still way more profitable to sell on ebay.

One idea i had to avoid scams was to not leave positive feedback until whatever the charge back deadline was for. So if they tried to scam me with a chargeback on paypal they knew i would leave negative feedback. I bet this scared a lot of scamers away.

I have not used Ebay to sell coins. I did once buy a Gridseed from it. Even for mining stuff though you are better off going right to the seller like Gaw miners or the like.

I've sold cars, household items, computer parts and bitcoin miners, but I have never attempted to sell any cryptocurrency there.

I dont use Ebay alot longer since they started collecting import taxes etc directly on the sales price, middelman shipping and all weird things they have come up with
during the last year.
Not worth it any longer and even if it was worth it i would refuse to feed those bastards at Ebay/PayPal any more of my money.
