As a card carrying subgenius, I must report to my brothers that I have found an active Dobbscoin pool in beautiful NL that seems to work with no problems (not spitting out orphans, etc)

Don't know why but this coin somehow looks really funny, can't take it seriously at all.

As a Reverend and a Doktor I was glad to see the home pool not kicking out a bunch of orphans. My wallet won't sync, though.  The block chain seems to be fouled up.  The Dobbscoin explorer shows it at block 268084, but the Prohash explorer shows it at block 268417.   And the home pool shows that it's on block 268880

I've had some trouble mining, but I suspect operator error before it's something with the pool.  Bfgminer doesn't seem to like the pool, and cgminer crashes after an hour or less.  
I hope I don't speak to soon, but I think I solved my problem.

These Dobbscoins are great for old mining hardware that I have that doesn't use up too much power.  115 watts for 5Mh

Ya, that was actually before I realized it was a profit switching pool. I am in the process of contacting them to have it removed in good faith. They likely did no research on this coin, and have no idea how badly they are making things for the chain. At least it got so clogged they had to shut it down for a week or two...

 Thank you for supporting our network, we appreciate the support. This coin is very important, it's importance will become clear in the future (I cannot say when, I do not decide these matters)

However, if you have Dobbscoin in your profit switching stratum, may you kindly remove it and only allow direct access to mining the coin? This is a very small network, and has been almost destroyed by profit-switching. In any case, the metrics where you likely get your 'most profitable' coins from does not take into account the state of the network. Only the difficulty and the price on exchange.

Thank you for supporting Dobbscoin. FYI, I am not a member of development team, but am an ordained minister in the Church of the Subgenius (Why Dobbscoin essentially exists after it's initial trial phase) - which gives me authority to speak on this matter.

In reference to the pool at mining-dutch, they have removed Dobbscoin from their profit switching stratum, so there will be no more 'spikes' like had been happening recently.

I still plan on setting up a Dobbscoin pool on Core Media's new home pool (coming soon, we've got our fingers in alot of tasty pies) so I don't know when that will be - but it will be!

Wow.. yea, so VPS upgrade didn't go well.  
But then it was ok for a minute, till they migrated us back onto out IP's and now it's offline again.

EndCiv has the seed node pointed at him for the time being and it seems that reetus' explorer is working.
Someone is indeed makin coinz and the chain continues.

Such is another day in the life, in pursuit of ultimate Slack.
