Just one question I cant figure out. You are a cryptocurrency with a great project and so forth. But why if I want to buy something in the game such as gold bars. I have to pay with dollars. Thats the thing I cant understand man as cryptocurrency you want fiat for game stuff. Just change that in munnecoin and than it make sense in my eyes. If you asking fiat its more like the game is the thing to collect some profits from. Maybe its me but it will have more sense without fiat and only munnecoin in the game.

good question. I guess because it's an Alpha version, they are making it available for us to see what's coming up and they are currently working on the cryptocurrency integration.

I will quote that part from the OP :

Final Presentation

Description: The game is a mafia browser game quite complete. Players will be able to travel across several maps (at the moment 4) and perform basic tasks (bribery, theft, fights), complete quests (like a “family quest” to earn a place in a mafia group), and then users will be able to create their own families (like a clan), write diaries and other features. We will include Munne as the coin in the game. Also, the game will have a casino (poker, blackjack, roulette) and earning rewards in Munne.

[....]

Release Date:

  • Beta Browser Game: December
  • Browser Game: January
  • Facebook Edition: Late-January
  • Mobile Edition: February

Take a closer look at that picture graphic for the game a few pages back.

Notice how the gold bar button is replaced with a certain crypto coin? Wink

As you can see the altcoin market is bleeding, almost every coin in red. Now is the time to buy Smiley

Exactly! The only green one in the first two columns isn't actually an altcoin, but a bitcoin mining share.

The gold bars are only going to be in the game until it moves to post-Alpha

The ICO was way too high. That was the problem with this coin, but what to say, easy money for the coin owners, or maybe not that easy, as they spend a lot of hours working on a coin, and i know it, i've work so many hours on Roscoin that i have less then $1 per hour that i have spend on my coin using the ICO money on ROS.

lol you won't be saying that when 25k sat is the monthly low. The price is only under the ICO as of right now for the same reason all alts have been bled out; BTC went ape.

hi placebo!  you think the ICO was too high, but i don't think you are right. remember that there is only 4.7 millions MNE.

go to coinmarketcap.com for example and select BTC as price value and order by the total coinage ( available supply ).

true, Munne don't figure on that site, but you will see that the coins that have around the same available supply all have current value way higher than what MNE is right now.

combine that with what Munne already have to offer, the roadmap, the Marketing firm, etc...

if you can't see that Munne is a steal right now, then....  Roll Eyes

but it's true that working on your own coin is extremely time consuming, much more if you need to babysit your own thread to please the miners/traders that have no patience. I also started something on the Web years ago and like you I worked for pennies,  for the first years. But now I can laugh at all these "poor years" because I worked hard on the basement and I'm pleased at the current results Smiley while doing about only maintenance and just few hours now per week. It's always hard at the start. It's your vision and the hard work that will pay off someday. True for everything.

In the final version you can buy gold with munne or fiat. Remember that the idea is to attract new users to the munne ecosystem, so we offer them to buy with fiat if they wish. It is not yet defined but we could offer a discount for using munne instead of fiat.

Mchono, you should post frequent updates on twitter, as you have not tweeted in an entire week now. There could conceivably be individuals that do not frequent Bitcointalk, but rather rely on twitter for their news. For those individuals, there would be a vast difference in perception of this project and it's current progress.

I'm gonna take the risk and buy some Munne right now. The price is less than half of ICO.

Neither.  There is a post earlier in the thread that suggests it is pronounced like Munich, Germany without the ich.(at least that's how I pronounce Munich)

Like fume but Mune.

You know, like a long "u".

Like punitive damages.

Like Myunne.

I'm not sure.

No deal, McCutcheon, that moon money is mine!
