I would like to buy Bitcoin with cash, but I don't know anyone irl, who has Bitcoin and could sell me some. Bitinstant would let you buy it for cash through Walmart/CVS/other stores cash deposit, but it doesn't exist anymore. And Bitcoin price on eBay is just ridiculous.

How much do you need?

You're 100 times more likely to get robbed buying from someone online, though. Comparatively speaking, buying bitcoin in person is very safe.

Also, in that particular example, it's the seller getting robbed.

I think once there would be more bitcoin ATMs in major cities that will serve as a cash purchasing option.

might be a little hard to buy with cash if a country does not have a community of bitcoin, but cryptocurrency continues to grow in many countries.
