So I downloaded the wallet to start this swap, but it seems to be taking an eternity to sync. Angry Angry About how long should I expect this to take?  Thx!

Hi all TIA for any input here as I have emailed to the HTML website but got a standard "auto-response" reply.  HI we will get back to U whenever??

I am confused prob cause I'm new to this space and am attempting to apply common sense to all this cryptocoin altcoin etc.... stuff.
But cmon I am not a coder but have successfully downloaded and utilized other crypto wallets.  Without any issue whatsoever(meaning the code is there and they are doing something that works ) why can't U?? How hard is it to have a working wallet?  Why don't all coins/tokens have a download on their respective websites with a uptodate chain available for download?  There is no reason a new user needs to wait for the "blockchain" to download thru there wallet if U simply provide the necessary DATA via Ur website.  For me this is ridiculous, it's 2017 Age of the cryptos which hmmm aren't they based on the simplicity of having a computer which in turn gives U access to the blockchain of all said coin/token.  Sorry for the rant but I am getting tired of trying to use a wallet that just sits there and does nothing!

Thanks in advance for any insight and to all A Happy and Prosperous New 2018!!

P.S. lol apologies main point here was to get the dang wallet to work for HTML coin downloaded from their website v2.0.0.2-beta(32bit)
doesn't work for me thus here looking for help with that....amazingly the only thing to date I have posted about is just that! Wallets
TIA

So I was reading through the swap instructions, and it seems that HTML5 on YoBit is slated to swap automatically. How might that work with the ratio, and is it better to swap them manually myself??

Hey Guys, this is an old thread for the old coin HTML5Coin. It was recently taken over by a new Dev Team, new Wallet, and new Coin Name, HTMLCoin.

There's currently a coin swap going on. Pay attention if you've purchased from Yobit because they aren't responding to the swap and you'll have to do it manually. Details in the other thread.

It's better to purchase in Bleutrade or Trade Satoshi because the swap is already done.

Here's the new thread with all the info.

It's a pity that the Yobit exchange does not want to be changed automatically, now you have to change everything manually and install the purse on the computer

HTMLCOIN ADDED TO CRYPTOBRIDGE

We are pleased to inform our community that as of today January 5th, 2018 we have been listed on Cryptobridge which is one of the most innovative decentralized exchange in the market.

According to Cryptocompare.com, A decentralized exchange is an exchange market that does not rely on a third party service to hold the customer's funds. Instead, trades occur directly between users (peer to peer) through an automated process.

This system can be achieved by creating proxy tokens (crypto assets that represent a certain fiat or crypto currency) or assets (that can represent shares in a company for example) or through a decentralized multi-signature escrow system, among other solutions that are currently being developed.

This system contrasts with the current centralized model in which users deposit their funds and the exchange issues an IOU that can be freely traded on the platform. When a user asks to withdraw his funds, these are converted back into the cryptocurrency they represent and sent to their owner.

The HTMLCOIN Foundation is truly grateful with all the effort and commitment https://crypto-bridge.org/ has put into this partnership,

See the announcement: https://twitter.com/cryptobridge/status/949376959544471552
