Your looking forward to the future of a scam coin, with a dead launch and poor development? Want some of my inballsdeepcoin?
Give it a rest, your posts are filled with unintelligent, rude and annoying sentences. Nobody cares anymore.

Before trading is enabled.....you really, really should do more to gain trust for the future.
I appreciate your work until now, but trust is needed to avoid a dump to 1 sat.
I am thinking of roadmap, POD (if not possible than in your own words description of team and future plans) etc etc

Good luck!

Stop asking for the POD its stuped and there is no point, look at MidasCoin, dev gone scamed everyone, he had POD so what, did scammed members got anything from that, NO!

You dont get it.....
If dev doesnt do more to gain some confidence, it will be a dump to 1sat
This coin was marked as a scam everywhere, if we just continue....all people will still see it as a scam.
Therefore we need stuff from dev to show the public that this coin has a future. Even if You don't like POD, it is better as nothing

ROLLBACK LIVE -- UPDATE NOW

The rollback is now in effect, please download the new wallets immediately and follow the detailed instructions below.

Again a huge thanks to everyone in this awesome community for sticking it out through this ordeal, the rollback will happen and the coin will progress forward.

New Rollback Downloads

Please download the appropriate release for your system and follow the detailed instructions on how to install the rollback binary and properly rollback the coin on your system.

Windows Instructions for Rollback:

  • After downloading the executable for windows navigate to the following directory in windows explorer: C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\GhostCoin you may need to type this into the explorer bar to navigate to that directory.
  • Make a backup copy of the file wallet.dat MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS BACKED UP. After backing up the wallet.dat file delete the entire contents of the directory.
  • Next, paste the new GhostCoin executable into this directory and paste your BACKED UP wallet.dat into this directory and run the GhostCoin executable
  • After running the executable it will sync after a few minutes to the new blockchain and you will now be using the new blockchain with the rollback.

Mac Instructions for Rollback:

  • After downloading the DMG for Mac navigate to the following directory in finder: ~/Library/Application Support/GhostCoin  you will need to use the finder "Go to folder" option to navigate to that directory as it is hidden by default on Mac.
  • Make a backup copy of the file wallet.dat MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS BACKED UP. After backing up the wallet.dat file delete the entire contents of the directory.
  • Next, run the DMG file to install the new GhostCoin client then go to the ~/Library/Application Support/GhostCoin directory and paste your BACKED UP wallet.dat into this directory and run the GhostCoin client.
  • After running the GhostCoin client it will sync after a few minutes to the new blockchain and you will now be using the new blockchain with the rollback.

Linux Instructions:
  • Download the latest code from the new github repostiory and rebuild the new GhostCoin wallet.
  • After building the new wallet navigate to the following data directory: ~/.ghostcoin/
  • Make a backup copy of the file wallet.dat MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS BACKED UP. After backing up the wallet.dat file delete the entire contents of the directory.
  • Next again go to the ~/.ghostcoin/ directory and paste your BACKED UP wallet.dat into this directory and run the GhostCoin client.
  • After running the GhostCoin client it will sync after a few minutes to the new blockchain and you will now be using the new blockchain with the rollback.

We understand that this is not a perfect solution, but unfortunately there is no perfect solution in this scenario. After a lengthy discourse with multiple parties we decided that this is the best course of action moving forward. Again we would like to thank everyone in the community for their patience, there will be further updates related to the rollback to address any issues.

I suppose add ghostcoin.info as a node for the time being...

create (or edit) ghostcoin.conf

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=44678
port=44677
gen=0
server=1
addnode=94.242.202.184

it connects.

For those having issues connecting on mac and linux please download the new mac wallet below, the fix in the source code has been also published to Github. As well, all of the other mac download links from the previous post and OP will also be updated. Thank you @kleineaap for helping the community to sync to the new blockchain.

Ok guys, we just finished reviewing and updating to the most recent code.

Couple of problems, and I'm open to suggestions.  We are currently short ~325k because of where the cut off block as done.  The 10M deposit never processed, but ~325k that was processed and credited never showed up.

We obviously can't open being short - so, I leave it to the dev and the community to help us raise the funds.  It is entirely not possible for us to roll back those deposits/transactions.

This could have been avoided all together if the dev would have synced and verified with us before choosing a block, or by premining the extra needed.  However, at this time, there isn't much we can do without balancing our wallet.

thanks,
richie@bittrex
