Well, what is the current development status?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

ANNOUNCEMENT -- DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

We just want to let everyone know that the devs are not dead (but they may be spooky spectres) and that things are moving forward just as planned with a lot more that is currently in the works. We've listened to the community and those that gave feedback regarding the roadmap. There is much more exciting news coming soon for GhostCoin, which will be announced once the details are finalized!

So here's the breakdown:

  • We're not dead (but we may be ghostly spectres)! Just very busy working on the new releases and soon-to-be-announced updates!
  • The new website as well as the block explorer are now live: you can view the website at http://ghostcoin.info and the block explorer at http://crawler.ghostcoin.info
  • We are currently scouting to bring in top talent to contribute to the project, so far we're very impressed with the talent that's come forward.
  • We have listened to the feedback regarding the roadmap, and an updated and revamped roadmap will be released sometime soon.

Could eventually be a massive payday for many of us who continue to hold.,
and have not shown weak hands.
It really is crazy for anyone to sell at this price. And yes, I did just buy a few more.
Very little  to lose, so much to gain!  Cool

Thanks for the reply mate, I kinda understood about the hidden blocks and what not but I have read a few places saying they might try and recover the coin by rolling back.
Basically, is the coin dead / dying?

Thanks

You are welcome. The dev. rolled bit back already AFTER the guys here found out about that hidden block.

However and with the recent events of AdamantiumCoin and the disappearance of GhostCoin dev. at the same day, it seems like the GhostCoin's dev had fixed this coin just to dump the rest of his coins during the price's pump which was a natural result for fixing the coin + the roadmap publication, something like a pump/dump/move_to_a_new_coin scheme.

I'm afraid that yes the coin is already dead, I'm honestly neither FUDding/have a reason to do so nor bought/mined this coin, but the proves, the deja vu of hidden block/registration and last seen dates are telling the whole untold story of a shitty dev. left off with his profits and left many miners/investors with their coins with no true innovation.

Maybe this is after all the aim of the dev's msg here in GhostCoin's thread: Leave no trace.
