volume trading in bittrex going down i hope this is just temporary
maybe affected about wallet XWC on bittrex maintain and now fix, lets make the volume trading in bittrex grow again

Hello fellow Whitecoiners,

The reason why Bittrex has contacted us is because the blockchain did a bigger jump than normal backwards. Now some jumps are normal. But this one was bigger than normal. Talking about 896 blocks.
All the balances on Bittrex are OK and have not been affected, but Bittrex disabled the wallet for us to check this and see what happened. After all we need to make sure the blockchain is running ok and secure.

I’m doing what I can at this point to figure out why and how this has happened, But the timing is not so great, I’m currently on a trip with my family this weekend and doing everything I can from remote.

The blockchain has been running normally after the jump and I have not seen it happen again. Still if any developer can help me find the cause to speed things up that would be great.

This is just to give you guys an update, we’ll keep you posted as much as we can.

For now i would like to ask everyone to set up as many nodes as you can with a port forward to 15814.

Just an update, We have been enabled for 2 days again (monday evening) on Bittrex, the 896 block jump was some kind of blockchain fork wich we needed to investigate.
We have added some more checkpoints to the wallet and have not seen the blockchain jump like that again.
