so that means i lost all my Coins? not just me but i am sure theres more people that didnt know about this? i know dark did the same but i was able to recover them and convert them into dash, any solution for XWC??

Unfortunately yes, you have lost your coins.

The swap was fundamentally done because the old blockchain had become unstable and very vulnerable to attack. We had to upgrade or else we would not have been credible and been de-listed from all exchanges. Which would have killed the coin for all.

We did our best to inform everyone between January and May when the swap was completed and have had very few people miss out.

I know this doesn't make things any better for you but it had to be done for Whitecoin to exist at all.

I also missed the swap.  So there is absolutely nothing that can be done?  I know it was not a lot but I had 80k coins that I lost.

Bittrex has become a wall for free trading, the withdrawal limits puts a huge wall between users wanting to get more Whitecoin.

Start shopping around for new exchanges.

Well we're on Bittrex, TradeSatoshi and LBank.

We don't really have any volume on TradeSatoshi but LBank is moving quite well

We also have an ETH-XWC trading pair on LBank if you want to trade with Ethereum

WhiteNode 0.2.3 Release Candidate





Version 0.2.3 is considered a Release Candidate. This version has solved most bugs and let’s us increase development on the GUI itself.

WhiteNode comes with an official Raspbian (stretch) customized image. This allows you to run the Whitecoin daemon out of the box with minimum efforts.
This way users can help strengthen the network and make it easy for users  to stake coins on an energy efficient device.

Changes from Beta to RC:

Cleanup packages
Update permissions for HTTP user
Fixed few bugs in WhiteNode GUI
Automatic wallet backup cronjob on 0:00 AM, encrypted with your custom RPCPassword
Place wallet.dat in /boot/wallet/ to transfer it to the working directory
GUI with update button
Update to correct libssl version

How to use it?

• Unzip the image and install it to an SD card like any other Raspberry Pi image
• Configure your WiFi by editing whitenode-wpa-supplicant.txt on the root of the flashed card when using it like a flash drive in windows.
• Start the raspberry pi with the SD Card inserted.
• go to http://whitenode/
• Change and enable login under settings
• Change your password for the default “pi” terminal user as well.
• Login with putty or a similar application.
• Login with the default credentials: User: pi password: raspberry
• and type: passwd for your new password
• How to burn the image to an SD card?

Download Etcher from https://etcher.io/ and follow the steps to burn it.

I am not really up to date in Whitecoin news.... so, forgive me if some posts addressed my question and answer...
I did not see anything from the few pages I checked.

My wallet is opened 24/7, really all the time... and always unlocked for stacking.

BUT, I realized this morning that I have not been getting any new rewards since Oct 10th.

In october, before the 10th, I was getter rewards DAILY, and sometime twice a day.
Before that it was at least every few days.

Is there something changed since Oct 10th?

About the conf file, I am not sure to understand the purpose.

I always understoo that conf file was to get some connections to the network
when challenging.
I did not understand that it was to increase / faciliate the rewards or their frequency.

Was I understanding wrong?

Your understanding is correct! The reason I suggest the config file is that some others have had issues of not getting a block reward.. Their connectivity to the network was poor and not recognising the full network weight

For example they had 15 connections stating the network had a 20M coin weight, after updating they had 50+ connections and the network weight was correctly represented.

The config file does not facilitate rewards but a proper connection to the network, which is essential to getting rewards.

If you have a good number of connections 40+ then it is not going to change anything.
