Yeah that's the fundamental problem we've had and the reason we are doing the update.

As of 1st of June at 22:00 UTC it will be fixed. Until then you may get a stake but it is unlikely.

On the upside blocks will now we worth 5XWC instead of 2.

Unfortunately no, the coin swap that had to happen means that, as you put it "old toilet wallet"s are not compatible with the current network.

The period for swapping to the current network occurred over a year ago now.

Whitecoin has successfully forked, now 5 XWC block reward



At 1st of June 2018 at 22:00 UTC (block 609332) the Whitecoin blockchain succesfully forked to a new chain. This upgrade fixed an issue with staking rewards and increases the stake reward from 2 XWC to 5 XWC.

The fork fixed the following

• Increases the staking reward to 5 XWC
• Fixes an issue with Future drift resulting in stakes not being distributed correctly

The update went smoothly thanks to combined effort of many individuals. The developers made sure the migration could be done seamlessly, all exchanges and platforms have been contacted by our PR team and the community updated their wallets to the latest version. Extra thanks to Oizopower, dev0tion and Blitzkitten for their hard work!

If you’re still running a wallet older that version v2.5 you will need to update before you can interact with the XWC network again. If you sent XWC while on the wrong chain, your address still has those XWC on the correct chain. If someone sent you XWC, your address on the correct chain has those XWC, your client just can’t see them yet (assuming the sender is on the correct chain). To confirm XWC did or did not send on the correct chain, check the destination address on the block explorer.

Whitecoin Wallet v2.5.2.0 Released



Hello all! We’re very pleased to announce the release of the Whitecoin wallet v2.5.2.0

From our winning logo we had to update the wallet as well and this one comes with a redesign, now it’s looking even more professional and modern. We also left the old fork behind, so the wallet won’t connect anymore to wallets lower then version 2.5

The changes included in v2.5.2.0 release:

• New logo
• Redesign wallet
• Leave fork behind, and only allow version 20001
• Changed the Node User Agent

Whitenode version 0.3.3 released! Improved GUI and compatible with the Whitecoin update



The Whitecoin team are pleased to announce we have released an updated version of Whitenode to v0.3.3 with an upgraded GUI and a version 2.5.2.0 wallet

Changes included in the v0.3.3 release

Base changes:

• Instant wallet sync was not working correctly, applied proper fix
• Compiled with wallet v2.5.2.0
• latest GUI interface
• Preloaded the XWC Blockchain (12th of june)

GUI changes:

• New amount of yearly coins according to new staking amount
• After setting encryption password give feedback
• After setting encryption password, start the wallet again.
• Fix modal submit action and remove modal display after action
• Add DataTables for transaction page
• Fix mobile dropdown menu
• Connections now show country where connected peers are located
• Recreate system menu, and move console out of experimental
• Fix reboot button on reboot page, this was not doing anything yet.
• Create a backup of the wallet and download to client
• Fix in languages dropdown
• Many more small fixes
