I don't think merchant adoption is contributing to the price profile - I think it's more to do with mining. Here again is a video explaining:

It's from two weeks ago, and the guy has offered a small bounty for integration suggestions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-TLA3j-ic4

DPOS isn't going to be integrated into Bitcoin. Anyway, in the long run, the inflation rate will subside. See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=130619.0

And, currently, it isn't the inflation rate so much as it is speculators causing the volatility. There is much more volume than there are new coins being mined and sold.

Thanks for the link to post man!

Yeah good points - I don't think a hybrid DPOS is the way to go either nor will it get integrated to Bitcoin - here's a response video my mate made after getting lots of feedback:

I personally think $360 range is the floor and gotta be careful trading as a spike to $500 range will happen very quickly.

Sub $300 will never happen again - just in my humble opinion - I could be wrong

I said about the same back when it was $640 or so, that it would never see sub-600 again, but look where we are now.

Sure, eventually we will have to rise. What comes down must go up. But before that, anything can happen.

Theoretically bitcoin can still fail  but after what bitcoin has been through, and it survived all that, I don't think we'll see it die off. Especially not since all these large corporations started getting involved.

So, just wait for it, and eventually we will see new highs, much higher than the previous ATH, and most likely higher than anyone would have guessed. When and how high exactly, and what lows we will see before that, well who knows. It's hard to say with bitcoin, that's the only thing you can be sure of.

Bitcoin is unpredictable. Buy and hold seems to be the best strategy if you want to secure your future wealth.

301!

Wow - no way, it's happening - cheers for the update bro

Well lots of us agreed the $300 range would be an excellent buy-in opportunity and we are effectively here now.

Suspect we wont stay in this range for long - Who thinks we are still going lower?

Been on forums there's a lot of us Localbitcoins sellers that are guessing the price will go to the $250 then back up to $500 - funny because this seems to be what most Sellers that posted think.

I disagree somewhat (Could be totally wrong but, I feel we are at/near short-term floor) I think we will start rebounding sharply over next few days.

It's part of my business to buy more BTC every 2/3 days - So will be buying some tomorrow (think I 've now missed the $301 optimal price)

Absolutely no idea to be honest. I can see this touching the previous ATH @ 266, but I'm enjoying the ride (it's much better than watching sideways movement). My average price is way off and I've seen this happen 3 times before, there's no reason to sell now if I didn't sell last time(s).

What's your prediction?

Fair enough - GL brother - Think I would be very happy picking up some at that price (tho you might have to be patient, like 3-4weeks??)
