You were told numerous times to sell and short.

All those predictions came true 100%.

You didn't listen.

Now, enjoy being the clown of the city.

People pointing and laughing at the idiot who bought the magic beans.

Guess it's time for the bridge.

There is a very good reason I gave that year.  Although TBH I have a feeling we are going to be in a bear market until the inflation is below 1%..

I've got nothing but time.

Fooled? How about facts that if you sold when we told you to, you would have lost less. Or even would have profited immensely if you shorted. You just had to listen. You were given a spoon, you didn't listen, look where you are now, in the dirt, forever, and it will only get worse...true losers at life the holders are.

8000% profit, still Cheesy, as opposed to 27000% profit 10 months ago.. numbers are getting so big I don't even bother to understand them.... Pending between 300 and 600 kind of reminds me pending between 4 and 7 or something. I didn't care about a downtrend back then, why should I care now?

Ok OP how much profit have you got so far?

I bet I made more on the way up then you did on the way down.

This thread reminds me of the ones after the 2013 bubble, and the one before that. The ones made by all the people who bought at the peak, sold at loss, decided to short to get gains back, and ended up getting burned once again because of their stupidity. The whole point here is to get more coins, not fiat.

Right now despair is total, simply because price leads sentiment. But the market will turn upwards in time. And when it does, it will catch the very people who wrongly interpreted following a temporary down trend as correctly reinforcing their bearishness on bitcoin in the longer term. When the trend changes - and it surely will - they will get caught out if they are using leverage.

Just like when it jumped 10% in 30 minutes two weeks ago. The bears were completely absent and silent. The price now is just a tool for the large speculators to game. Why are the largest holders of bitcoin increasing their holdings if 'bitcoin is over'. Why are bitcoin days destroyed not sharply rising? Because this decline is a manipulation of the market designed to generate selling and allow coin redistribution from weak hands to strong hands. Then the show starts all over again. A month or two after it starts, all this will be a blip in the rear view mirror.

COI: long term bitcoin holder, planning to add more at increasing tranches the further we drop.

I don't really care what happens. I invested a couple thousand when it was in the low hundreds and it was all money I could 100% afford to lose. No one is a laughing stock for taking small budgeted investment shots. People are laughed at for never taking any risks at all. I'm a long bull and I like the blockchain innovation / technology. If it works it works. If it doesn't, no big deal.

I remember mining my bitcoins easily with two graphics cards in 2011 and selling about 18 bitcoins for £108 if I remember correctly. Since then and late 2013 I was so bitter and poisonous to the fact that the price had risen so much that I sounded very similar to the OP in this thread. I bought back in last year. If there is one thing I have learned is that you must sit tight and be patient. There will probably be many more price spikes to come as the price adjusts itself upwards. Bitcoin is a new technology that right now is in its infancy. As it grows stronger and more useful for many, so will the price grow. This just takes time.

To the OP, dont be bitter as I was about missing out on the opportunity, perhaps invest a bit and come back in a few years to reap the potential rewards. It only has to be a small sum of cash now to potentially make a substantial sum in the future. Bitcoin has so much potential and the fundamentals have not changed. This is a very disruptive technology and your emotions have no baring on its success. Either accept this or move on and stop reading forums about something you do not believe in.

Why not look at the bright side. It either be your best life time investment or a very expensive lesson. Bitcoin is way above and beyond the "Magic beans" and "Clown of the village" times. I was the clown of the village buying and preaching magic beans in 2011. Haha the joke was on them.

But that aside, never not be careful and these are indeed very hard times especially for the ones buying at ATH down to $800....

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

If the price had gone up we would see the same "I told you so!" spam flooding in the forums and chat...
Probably even from the same people on some of their 101 sockpuppet accounts.

You troll/spam guys all sound like religious prophets, maybe try your always correct predictions in a church some time, they've had some bad luck with their predictions, they can probably use you very well, and as a bonus you'll be relieved of having to endure in this community among all these 'fools' that don't want your 'saving' anyway.

Past performance does not guarantee future results

Taking advice from a*sshole gloating windbags doesn't "guarantee future results" either, specially when they've no idea who they're talking to.

Plenty people have been in and out of this market 100 times since the ATH. They've made money on the way down, on the way up, some have lost some have gained. Some decided to hold and don't give a sh*t what the price goes to for the next couple of years because they've got better things to do than to sit glued to a trading chart everyday.

Get a life.

P.S. This is for you...you might identify with it.

Get a life.

Listen, pleb, I know whales and I told you to sell, because they are selling. You didn't listen, because you're an ignorant fool. Don't cry now, because you lost money due to your stupidity. Some people have power, money, all of it. If you don't listen to them, you are bound to become a waste and end up in financial ruin.

Should have listened. You were told numerous times.

First of all, you didn't tell me sh*t.

I trade on my own criteria thanks and have been in and out of this market since it was at $60. Sorry to disappoint your precious ego pal but you don't have a monopoly on the idea that young markets consolidate after a big rise or that big holders have more influence than small ones.

If your looking for soft targets to make yourself feel better go and poke a puppy in the eye.

The fact that I'm only about 3 times up rather than 8 times ? - mildly disappointing.

Reading the self serving crap of gloating pricks like you ? - priceless.

Smart talk won't make you gain more money. Still holding that bag of rotten shit? Just be careful, it will burn your hands soon. So much unrealised profits. Better not tell your friends and family about your financial mistakes.

You are so frenetic and emotional it is almost funny. If you are like XiaoXiao then you are probably shorting with peanuts yet posting all over the forum like you are Gordon Gekko. Playing with leverage won't end well for you I suspect.

The only thing that Sevvero is "shorting" are the circuits in his own delusional head.

bitcoin has dropped from $680 to $460 ($310 at btce) since Jun 2014

bitcoin is going to nowhere but down, even lying scammer and bag holders like fonsie/dropt have given up and crying to die
Wow, literal idiot spotted. Where's the analysis? In your ass?

Bitcoin has also risen from literally $0 to $466. $466 for 1 stupid coin. It's HUGE.

I think that Bitcoin is a fun little gamble that can pay off massively.

Who cares if it dropped 100, 200, 300$? It's volatile, that's normal. Is the protocol broken for you to claim it's on its "last breath"? Don't ignore this question, I know you read it, so answer it. Provide your analysis as well.

Of course if you just lengthen the timeframe slightly it looks totally different. I see what you did there.

He is clearly a bitter, angry man. Reviewing his post history reveals someone who has been agitating for the better part of 6.5 years - you'd think he could have made enough $ to re-accumulate by now after his horrendous loss long, long ago.

I could not agree more kfactor. I love looking back at old posts like this. It’s funny how history repeats and the bears moan about the price being down from ATH. A few years later they soon get proven wrong 😎.

I can't imagine the face of OP on the day the price reached $ 19,000... according to coinmarketcap in 2014 the price was $400 and the current price: $9700. I'm not imagining what profit people who bought a lot must be making today

OP you still have not learned over time? your posts make me believe that only when you see the price above $ 20,000 will you be convinced that bitcoin has a very good future

One thing I learnt Slow Death is to just buy and hold for at least a few years. It’s a lack of patience that leads people to sell. There are many shake outs along the way. It’s crazy to see how much bitcoin has grown. All metrics are up year by year other than the price. If you only risk what you can afford to lose then what is the problem? 😎

Every market has shakeouts, totally natural.   You cant eat a bitcoin they might say it criticism, totally true and people have a hundred valid reasons to sell and use the value elsewhere so BTC can always go down and touch bottom again but the point is it does have a use especially in this increasingly volatile, distant but interlinked global economy we have and it provides a secure transaction.   I've doubted Bitcoin myself before and after starting using it, I guess we will all doubt it again along the way but hopefully I've learnt not to sell out everything.
I like old threads like this that remind us of 'ancient' perspective that at the time was perfectly valid,   I totally know the context for all the first page posts and I dont mind discussing it with anyone more recent for context or whatever.   The fallout after 2013 was pretty epic though I remember alt coins were still fine in 2014 so it was ok from my perspective just about, the guy who commented about 2016 was dead on and I see he is still active here also.
I sold BTC in 2016 I'll admit, bad lull but I literally wrote down early 2017 theres a trend forming here and held all from then on.  Its hard to know in the midst of it all just like now imo.

I like old threads like this that remind us of 'ancient' perspective that at the time was perfectly valid.

But these threads were from a crop of psycho bears who were hell bent on jamming their point up your arse. There were tons of them in 2014/15 and none of them were interested in listening what anyone else had to say. They only existed to grind out their same old points over and over again.

If it had been a reasoned discussion between someone taking a balanced view then it would be worth reading. As it stands it's the ejaculation of a near extinct breed. I noticed their attempts after 2017 were much, much weaker.

It has historical merit more towards the type of creeps who descended at that time.
