I don't think that somebody will do a takeover of a coin that have only less of 2 months, but anyway i hope you will be lucky to find somebody for this job

Anyway i was watching the Sec. Thread and i'm surprised that on this month there were less new coins then last month (Maybe School/University takes away scammers or dev that doesn't know how to do hello world and use pre configured files for make a new coin?) anyway i don't know if you heard it but Clickcoin maybe will get a takeover

I didn`t know, But anyway I quoted your answer because its true about Clickcoin .

Yeah i know, for sure the coin maybe for something like 4-10 months will survive only thanks to the community that really care about clickcoin and in the future will start putting some kind of reward for who will do the takeover

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Like to many coins it would have been launched after Sept 01 2015 it now  would are dead as soon as dev left the coin, And instead off something like 4-10 months  the time would be more shortest like  to 1 or 2 months max. perhaps, However we may see this on the list when people realize that the takeovers dont work in almost cases.

Yeah most likely, anyway you saw https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219043 ? Seems that instead of giving some random reward after n blocks will randomly decide if give a real reward or destroy one single coin, and anyway for now is only an PRE-ANN

Thats  only another new coin that not get very far and I have considered a PRE-ANN is equal to an project or a coin since Sept 01 2015 unless the dev desist the same day of do the announcement, This became part of the DC indicators.

BoostCoin moved from "Coin under sync" to "Waiting an answer" because both wallet and explorer reports the last block in date 28/09 and the deadline before i consider it dead is 31/10

in case of manipulation i include a quote of what i wrote in the BoostCoin ANN discussion

Somebody knows if is normal that the wallet stopped at the block 640366? I was doing the sync of the blockchain and all of sudden it blocked on that block which is also dated 28 september.... Is this coin on a dead line or something?

I'm not an follower of that coin but you could read post #3580 on that thread. Maybe you could dont run that wallet for awhile. As far as  it is not dead but it isn´t safe.

BowsCoin added to "Wait for a response"
Cause: No sync from nodes listed in the OP
Deadline: 31/10

Fixed, the dev given a new list of nodes and the sync ended without any problem

Bit1 i suggest you check the following coins (I attach the code of the topic and because i didn't found them on coinmarketcap for the time being are on the bottom of my list)

WhyCoin = 1204302
Silent = 1219043 <---- This one seems that can even destroy itself one coin for block on both POW/POW
FreeMansionCoin = 1219607 <------ This one is a bit spammed all over the forum so maybe they changed thread
Bumbacoin = 592679

About Whycoin marked as dead, Finally it was a try of scam or only a coin to "subscribe" users on another forum.

I will watch the rest later.

Thank you.

Edit: Coinmarketcap down from 632 to 617 the total number of currencies of the list, This could be a good signal.

I wasn't thinking to mark them as dead, but a list to watch because i saw whycoin on a chat (Bumbacoin was cited on some giveaway)

well for now somebody quoted the whycoin OP before it got deleted and the links are still working, and i'm surprised he did it before the change of hour (Maybe the dev given up just today)....
