UPDATE: Banx is Now on the Bitshares Network and is openly traded!

Announcing Banx Capital and Banx

Welcome to Banx Capital & Banx,

I have been an online entrepreneur since 1997 and over these years have run over 32,000 websites. I have made millions of dollars online, seen many dot com bubbles and, of course, the bursts.

During this time only a handful of opportunities have truly excited me. The potential that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have to change the commercial world and the way we do business is as big as when email was introduced. I have the same gut feeling and excitement now that I did back when I made my first dollar online in 1998.

I knew then that there were millions of dollars to be made from the online adult industry. Sure enough I went from working in a one bedroom apartment heavily in debt to creating 32,000 sites and bringing in over $2,000,000 a year in recurring income. The excitement I felt then I feel now about bitcoin and Banx.

The world and the Internet is a very different place compared to 17 years ago. The creation of Bitcoin in 2009 means that world will never be the same.

I have been involved in Bitcoin for the past 18 months now and Banx capital is offering you the chance of sharing my vision.

I want to create a global brand exploiting the massive entrepreneurial opportunities that Bitcoin and crypto currencies have to offer.

I am a tried and tested entrepreneur who has learned more from his misfortunes than his successes. With investment, my knowledge and the industry experts Banx Capital has to work with, we can truly create a force to be reckoned with.

My vision is to make the Banx brand a worldwide brand. The multiple websites we will be operating offer a full range of Bitcoin related services from our own exchange to mining farms and much more. I also view this company as helping to support the Bitcoin eco system massively.

The time is now. Bitcoin is set to change the world of finance and business online as we know it.

When I do something I shoot for the moon and beyond. This is your chance to join me on my journey and share my vision.

I look forward to you becoming involved and working together to create our own piece of history.

Best Regards

Mark Lyford

Interesting.

Do BanxShares become PoW minable after a certain block number is passed ?

I did try solo mining using the wallet after seeing the listing on coinmarketcap.com on Saturday, however the block reward is ofc 0.00 currently. I didn't check the github code fully yet.  Smiley

...

Also, could you perhaps look to add Sterlingcoin (SLG) to your exchange fairly sharpish ? - As your also a UK based business / entity I think it would be appropriate.

See: http://sterlingcoin.org.uk and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=721936

Cheers!

OK Thanks.

I'll PM Spencer (a Sterlingcoin Dev.) with a link to this post now. I've already had a discussion with them in regards to your new http://banx.io exchange service.

Anyway, I'm just building bridges.

Looking at this with interest.
Truth is, like so many on here I've been burned.
That said, this looks like you are building a real business, run from a real address, with real people with real names!!

Sounds too good to be true...where's the catch !  Wink

I've been looking for an investment opportunity in crypto that is buffered against the price waves.
On paper, providing mutually beneficial services in and around Bitcoin and crypto in general sounds like a really sensible way to minimise risk wrt price volatility, whilst also maximising your exposure to all the benefits.  A one stop shop....

Is the cryptosphere going to be the biggest thing since the internet in the next 3-5 years?  Yes, definitely.
Could Banx be the next google?  Possibly.

I have Googled you, as anyone should, and it is clear you are not hiding who you are, or what you are about.
I really do think this level of openness is what this community has been waiting, no, needed, for quite a while.

This looks like a really exciting opportunity, I'll be investing.

First time I've ever seen projected statements of cash flow in a cryptocurrency whitepaper. Crypto is growing up  Cry Grin

I won't invest directly as 20% of that investment is directly lining dev's pocket, but hey, at least he's being up front about that.

I will point hashrate at this if it's still possible to mine it, though (no sound on my current computer so no point in watching the mining response video).

I also think you should immediately do the legwork required in contacting the devs of Sterlingcoin and Britcoin to be listed on the Banx exchange. Don't rely on the community here to put you in touch with them... show the cryptocurrency community you're a part of it, rather than seeking to extract 20% of your targeted 10,800 BTC investment from it exploitatively.

Though the multi-pronged business strategy could work through diversification, you'll have to do really, really well at each. This is not the case so far. What I'm seeing at Banx.io (3 currency pairs and a terribly thin trading interface) leaves me unimpressed.

What are your plans considering BTC's value is so much less than the USD500 as per your entire financial projections?

So far this seems primarily like a venture to put 2160 BTC in Mark Lyford's personal wallet.

Hi there, yes you're right we are fully upfront, unlike many other equity based share system exactly who own what and where the invested funds go. The reality is banx.io has only been online for 7 days and up until Thursday last week had some issues. This is brand new mate.

The reality is I think BTC will be back up at the $500 mark soon, and in the meantime we are aiming to sell to private investors for USD too.

I disagree re you 2160 BTC comment. yes of course i have been working my ass off , for what i hope will be a successful company very quickly. But the reality is if its not successful for the share holders it wont be success for me. Let me state here and now I own 20% of the BANX shares. those shares will not be sold by me for at least 6 months, none of them. so actually the only way I can personally earn out of Banx is from the dividends made from the shares I own.

All of the BTC raised will be spent as outlined in the prospectus.

I would love the chance to talk to you further, if you are on skype and up for a voice call add me on ID mjlyford

Anything else you need to know just let me know

Regards

Mark

Hi there,

first of all thanks for the positive comments Smiley

as you mention I have not hidden myself in any way, google me and you will find everything out about me and my past Smiley

here at Banx we pride ourselves on being open and totally honest (even if it's things people don't want to hear)

this is born out of total openness from me, something I have already done.

Hit me up any time if you would like to discuss any more in detail

I will contact the guys from Sterlingcoin and Britcoin, but just to confirm we are only looking to raise 4,400 BTC , and none of it will be done 'exploitatively' its a simple IPO offering.
