All unsold tokens will be burned, as well as company funds in the same ratio. Not sure if they already started the burning process
Can anyone explain how coins are getting burned? In another project thread I read that tokens are sent to an address nobody has control over it? If so, how to make sure nobody can control them? Wouldn't be a coin swap a far better alternative?

I think there are a more ways how to proceed. In case of HERO, I am pretty sure they are really destroyed because if you check the contract address you can see that the total supply is ~252 million.

it was done automatically by the contract, not manually - As soon as the ICO ended, the tokens were destroyed automatically

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Just over $2 million. Is that what you guys had roughly in mind to get everything going as you desire?

Hard Cap was $14 million USD - would be way easier obviously
As far as I know from the team $2 million USD is enough to make a good progress - maybe a little bit slower but everything should work

Sounds reasonable. Whenever it comes to software, development is so expensive. I hope they can do most of the stuff they have in mind.
