I already told them my real name. That basically means they know who and where I am and what I am doing etc. Still they don't trust that my business is valid. Two years ago, when I launched workforbitcoin.com, people just came and registered. Now, I just launched https://coinut.com. People refuse to register. Can any body tell me what's wrong with it?

If I talked to a guy and he said his name and described his busines, that wouldn't be enough to trust, neither here, nor IRL. Trust is hard to get for a reason - so that only those who don't run away with the money get trusted.

Thanks. Right. But I did not run away with people's money in workforbitcoin.com. Is this a valid proof that I am trustworthy?

My guess would be that the scams showing up day after day made the people more careful. Much more careful.

Exactly that. With people getting scammed again and again (in lending, in dice sites, in ponzi, etc), they will start to learn from it and be more careful before trusting another person. It is definitely a good thing for the whole community though IMO.

Do you mean that there are some grammar or spelling mistakes in my website or my announcement?

also -- appearances matter.
when the only 3 links on the front page go to the same FAQ -- it may deter registration.
also -- "Secured by GoDaddy" does not help.
This is not meant to be rude or offensive. Just my 2 sats. Appearances matter.

sorry I read that article two years ago, and I forget the details. And at that time I wanted to apply for a WOT account but did not do it because of the user unfriendly interface. I just obtained one. It's still not very smooth even though I am going to get my phd degree soon.
my wot nickname is wangxinxi.

I already told them my real name. That basically means they know who and where I am and what I am doing etc. Still they don't trust that my business is valid. I'd guess because your name sounds Chinese. There are over a billion Chinese, and no way to enforce a civil ruling in China.

American people can flee to another country that is out of reach of America.

Trust is something that must build from beginning and the process won't be instant to gain a trust ! Yes,that's true PONZI is overhelming this forum so most of people here become more aware for any kind of project. But you can make a good start to gain a trust For example: Promotion at social media, free giveway,or signature campaign just like the others do
