Hashie,
Can you add a feature that emails you when your miner has been sold on the market?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

My two little units appear to be hashing away.  I honestly don't see much of a purpose for the new [Market] given the current fee's being charged ($1.10+9%) per miner sale?  Ouch!  Anyway, still a pretty damn decent $/GH ratio assuming this remains legit.

Sure, we just added this.

Sahra,

Often When I log into Hashie after putting in my correct 2FA code it takes me back to the login page and I have to login a second time and enter my 2FA code again. This is kind of annoying. Can you correct this undesirable behavior of your login?

We all use 2FA on our accounts and we haven't experienced this yet. Are you using anything like a password manager or other extensions that might interfere with the form?

The minimum withdraw amount is 0.0012 BTC. A 0.0002 BTC fee will be subtracted from the amount.

This is fucking ridiculous.

Hashie,
I had an idea,
Could you make a way to sell mining contracts privately.

For example, If I was to negotiate a mining contract exchange offline, it would be nice to send them a private link where they could purchase just my miner.

The public market is nice, but it discourages more active participation in selling miners. Why would I go to the trouble of getting someone to buy my miner if everyone elses miner is displayed next to it with the potential for someone else to receive the fruits of my labor.

Think if it as a storefront or resellers page. Even better, provide an API so that a purchase button can be displayed on my website for any mining contracts I already own.

In the end, its more potential revenue for Hashie, and its something that no one else is doing, so it could attract a lot of business.

Few people on BTCJAM now looking for funding for Hashie which should be seen as a good sign.

That's right, we Jammers are looking at Hashie.co, I just bought 1.1 TH at Hashie Market since I rather like to start with efficiency above 100%

@hashie Also, I just don't like Hashie Support asnwer - miners merging is just for easier displaying, but you can not unmerge miners

@hashie what does this means - "With auto-rebuy, your hashpower will increase exponentially - it's great as a long term investment.". Are you sure about wording - to me, exponentially means A^X, if so pls explain what is basis A and what is exponent X.

Thanks.

A is your hashrate.

X depends on how much you choose to reinvest. Probably something like 1.001. And yes, it grows exponentially albeit slowly.

Okay, I have A=1000.00 GH/s, what if I reinvest 100%, what's the calculation, how can I calculate exponent?

No password manager or extensions that would be interfering. I use Firefox updated to latest public release.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

Enter 1000 GH/s (or 1 TH/s) and find how much you'll make before fees, subtract fees, divide by 0.49 (current price per GH/s). You should be able to figure out the rest.

He makes about .6%/day here presently.

So, after his first re-investment he´s making .6% on 1006 and so on.

Of course this can fluctuate, .7 perhaps .5 some days

Just note that a difficulty adjustment just occurred so it will produce 10% less gross revenue with the same fees, perhaps a ~20% drop in net revenue.

Regarding the Market and \selling - If I decide to, or have already done so, merge my miners - when I sell them I cant unmerge them and sell them in parts?  I have to sell the whole merged miner?

@Hashie - can you update the market system by allowing us to sell our merged hashing power in pieces?

Yep, subject to change.

But I doubt that yields will fall much in the coming weeks or even
months. It´s a hugely competitive market. Totally a buyer´s market.

@Hasie - Can you please include auto-rebuy transactions in the "Transactions" page? I mean, after every payout I simply want to know auto-rebuy details: percentage of the payout, mBTCs used for the rebuy, at what BTC/USD price and how many GH/s was bought.. Thank you
