Well i have received fuck all and was onE of the original buyers awaiting my October shipment which didn't happen and was then offered an upgrade rather then a refund at the time.. which i took :/ and now get no response to my questions regarding my promised December shipment. I have now sent multiple messages via the hashra.com website member control panel and have got nothing in response! Pretty sure we have ALL been ripped off and its time to start taking legal action against Simon again as it seamed to get his attention last time. WE ARE/HAVE BEEN SCREWED.

I am looking to generate a list of potential buyers who have purchased one of HASHRA's new Moonraker or ASTRO miners. I will be building a case to hopefully begin sometime of litigation process against Simon Bright and his HASHRA organization for defrauding buyers.

I have already filed reports with the following authorities:

United States:

IC3 Complaint: I1410121225127641

I would suggest referencing the above reference numbers as well as including yours in the posting. If we can create a large enough network of these filings it may help trigger some type of action.

Please see this forum thread for reference information regarding Simon Bright's most current contact information:

Please reference it when you submit your report.

Here is the bank information that you can reference in the report:

If you are located in another country other than the ones listed above please file a report with your local authorities and paste a link to the website you used and the ID number of the report so others may reference it.

I understand that he has two more days to 'technically' refund our money but considering the lack of communication for almost a month and no other indications that development of the described products is even occurring it would be safe to presume that willingly sending out refunds is just wishful thinking.

I would like to see Bitcoin succeed and it will have a hard time gaining ground if individuals/companies do not stand by their word. Thank you for your support

EDIT 10/17/2014 I have added a spreadsheet to help track all of the information please update it if you have new information to add.

Sorry for crossposting this in several threads, but it might be important -

lifeforcepools - Hashra reseller - has locked his thread after some posters questioned his lack of communication and other issues:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=864057.260;topicseen

lifeforcepools along with Xircom were pumping another scammy ASIC seller MAT, which is now in bankruptcy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=485237.0;topicseen

Anyone who purchases from lifeforcepools via PayPal should be very careful to not miss any dispute deadlines. His last promise was that the miners will ship "end of this week", but so far there is no proof of anything that would indicate the miners even exist.

And this is a great example of how you can expect to be treated by this upstanding businessman. Sucks that you can't just delete my posts like you did in your self-moderated thread?

I sincerely hope for the sake of your customers that you will ship by the 19th. Take care.

He really doesn't like to be reminded of his role in the MAT fiasco, that's for sure.

Pretty sure this is a SCAM.  Nothing has been shipped.  And it appears that some of the correspondence from Simon to a few people may not even be real.

OK;

So I am relatively new to Bitcoin mining - and I am absorbing as much as possible.

I found Hashra's web site and wanted to find out more about the company.  There seems to be plenty of press (some good, most bad).
The industry is plagued with delays and false representations - from a number of contributors (manufacturers, sales reps, online publications, forums, equipment resellers etc etc).  However, this is not that different from the mid 1980's when the PC market was rocking and delivery delays were as rampant as misrepresentations  (yes, I lived through that and remember all too fondly placing an order for an Apple IIc slimline computer and waiting 8 months for it to be delivered).  Eventually, the manufacturers caught up to demand.

Do we definitively know that Hashra is, in fact, a SCAM?  Can someone provide some sort of non-emotive update?

With thanks.

Yes,

New user to this forum - and I've purposely joined to ask about Hashra.
Seems to me that Hashra may have wanted to be legit - and they've succumbed to factors that were out of their control.
Yes, I think (based on all that I have read) that Hashra has gone rouge.  But there sure is a lot of incriminating evidence left behind (addresses, corporate records, photos of the Simon, phone numbers, bank account details ....).

So be it.   Off to buy some Bitcoin mining equipment from somewhere else......

Thanks.

Am in the same boat. ie: "one of the original buyers awaiting my October shipment which didn't happen and was then offered an upgrade rather then a refund at the time." My order (# 1401) got upgraded from 1 MoonRaker to 3.

Simon is no longer replying my emails either. Thank goodness I only bought the cheapest unit.
