Current state of the project? Time to final release? Can we please have an update?

I heared that CloakTeam is testing the final wallet in livenet. They will make an update if they are ready.

Thats remarkable... I hope CloakTeam will appear with some very fresh n positive news.

Hello Cloak Community,
 
We wanted to provide you with an update on our recent development and testing.
As many of you are aware, we have been conducting PoSA tests on the Cloak 'live' network for a number of weeks.
We have also addressed and resolved the last few bugs with the PoSA protocol and
are now in a position to begin preparing the wallet for final release
 
We expect to continue our 'live' tests for the next 2 weeks,
just to ensure things are as stable and bulletproof as possible.
We will also be posting a countdown prior to release,
so please keep an eye out for that appearing very soon!
 
Thanks to everyone in the Cloak community for your continued support,
we're very excited to be in a position to release the final PoSA wallet

So can we stake on the old wallet now or no?  Are all versions functional or which can work together both for Mac and PC as it stands now??  

Yes,you can use 1.9.7.25 or 1.9.7.33 for Windows, 1.9.6.0 Mac

edit:  I'm running the 1.9.6.0 for Mac.  It shows no active connections.  Should I give it some time to get the connnections or how can I check the status of the network or my ability to interact with it, 'getpeerinfo?'  It's possible I don't have the nodes properly installed?

Isnt it possible to download a CloakCoin.conf with actual addnode settings from the new block explorer explorer.cloakcoin.com ?

PS: dont forget to delete you peers.dat before restarting wallet again
