We should point out that none of the team is currently working on One or other new crypto projects, we simply don't have the time at present. We're in a less than ideal situation due to continued lack of funding for development, which has severely hampered progress, especially of late. why and what is the main benefits for open source??? cloak any have value by price or by awareness that you are saying for open source??? open source means you are giving right to do anybody copy code and then cloak completly dead 1000% so i think cloak team should continue development and we just need big investor so all will be good and offcourse good exchange and then start PR and we are ok and stable

Yes we made mistakes in the past, thats true. I can give you some reasons for the things happened. We was not lazy or stupid as some of you may belief. But with a project like cloak you will meet some challenges over the time. But i personally (alice_bob) think we should make a clear table now. thats the situation, sorry for whats happened! Now we want to try a restart.

If members want to support the project, please visit IRC. I am there the whole day today and i will give my best to be there every time its possible for me! You can ask me about current situation and we can talk about possible solutions.

I personally think we should start PR. We still have the fund for it! But it was the wish of the team to clear this things out with you and accord with you from now on.

My first goal is, collecting ideas for PR e.g. preparing a compare sheet with cloak, monero, sdc, zcash, new video?, everything that can help cloak.

As we told, a problem is time, i think we can need every helping hand. Maybe we can build small groups, for different tasks (contacting exchanges, spread cloak infos, preparing pr documents, find investors for more marketing,...

If pr is successful, i think the further development will not be a problem.

My view is, that here arent realy trolls arround. In fact the most posts have there truth and i can understand the dissatisfaction about many things, i feel the same on some parts. Please lets try to put our heads together and bring cloak back on its road again! We will prepare and start PR now!

Trust is most crucial at this point for this coin, only Open Source can give 100% Trust. Open Source + PR is the Rescue, both simple to do , then if this fuels price we could Start Crowdfunding outstanding work like monero for example, Fund Held in Escrow till Task delivered

Do we open-source the code in its current form and walk away from the project and let it be picked up by a new team?

and about polo exchange if polo not telling you or us about not adding cloak on polo then polo should reply here why they are not responding even? they should only response and detail of reason not to add cloak on polo exchange at least so next time we do not ask cloak team or polo about cloak. even cloak is going very well just need awareness and good exchange so polo should add cloak.. and in polo exchange there is 50 of coins just for fun here lots of scam coins there and even no trade volume.. i think polo admins should reply here at least about reason..

No, there isnt a new team waiting and coder still wants to continue!

Imho opensource will be necessary for trust in general. There are some places which are only based on os software and they can give cloak a real world value. But to be honest, cloak isnt in a good position atm. I prefer bringing cloak back to life and make it possible to garantee further development on code! Then i think its time for os.

It works i tryed many transactions between 1 and 10 cloaks and the most worked fine. it think bigger transactions are a problem at the current time. but this get solved with more members and positive balances.

For investors this can be interesting. the core works very well, so trust depends not only on empty words, you can proof the posa functions in current wallet! We all know what can happen if a coin get added to a marketplace. At least we must make pr, or where else should we get money for further development? Its the only way we can move

yes, I already dontated alot to the last donation call. 100$ is not much and should cover ~10% of the next pr, if ppl join me the next pr campaign would be paid very soon
