Issue identified. This is a known bug from NXT and can be fixed with a new version / copy of a working database...Working on that now.

Is that the reason behind the rapid drop in the number of nodes as well?

Is that the reason behind the rapid drop in the number of nodes as well?

There was a malicious group from central asia running a very large amount of nodes that were continuously dumping. They seemed to have moved on. This is a good thing, as Horizon can now return to its uptrend, and people running nodes now are the legitimate holders. It also means people running nodes will receive a higher amount of HZ every day.

Update: We have identified the issue, identified the solution, testing is successful and we are creating a zip file for people who are experiencing the problem.

People who are stuck on block #236132  are going to have to delete their nhz_db folder and use the one we are about to post to get past that block.

I'll post a download link soon.

The ones gaming the faucet as well I presume. To be honest I'm glad that it is because of them not because of tech Smiley

Thanks for being on top of things, as per usual Smiley

Best of luck in 2015 Nick. To the entire team and everyone here too Smiley

Our client update to V 1.2.9 is also complete. We are just going to change over the old NHZ GUI to the new HZ GUI and will release it to the public in the next few days.

We also launched a new OP ANN today. Your feedback is appreciated.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=823785.0
We will have some very exciting news / undisclosed development releases in the coming week or two as well.

We are taking the node bounty script offline for a couple days for maintenance and prep for the next update. Will run 3x when online again.

New ANN is good, nicely structured and clear. A few text misalignments but that's just nitpicking.

Interesting to see "token" being used as a term Smiley

Looking forward to new updates

Manditory wallet update: https://bitbucket.org/MattWo/nhz-source/downloads

Fixed the GUI issue.

Download hz_v3.2.2-fix.zip  and run the HZ client normally as you would.

Nice! Should the hz_v3.2.2 in that ZIP replace any instances of nhz_v3.2.1_api I had running (i.e. is it a hallmark node-capable package)?

Thanks for all your great work.

Node bounty maintenance is complete. We will be bringing it live tomorrow and will run it 5 times to make up for the missed payments.

Thanks for your patience while we updated the script.

We are performing a security audit on the V 1.2.9 client code and will be launching it very soon to the public. This will require a hard fork with this update, and users will have one week to update from the day we make it live.

I'll post a download link soon.

i'm still stuck on block #236132, but i see the web wallet is ok, where can i download the new nhz_db data?
