Right now, the most profitable X11/X13 coin to mine will only get about 10$ per day with 150 MH/s of hashpower. So that means to make ROI on the smallest miner you would need 45 days of mining, IF the mining profitability is the same in a year, but, mining profitability always goes down over time. The Aurora would take about 30 days to ROI if profitability is the same as today in a year.
I'd guess we'll have about 10-20% of today's profitability in a year... so to me, pre-ordering this far in advance is a bad idea. Unless of course you are just speculating on the coin price - maybe that will go up, although judging by recent ICO's I wouldn't count on it...

You guys do realize that right now, the most profitable X11 coin to mine will only get about 6$ per day with 150 MH/s of hashpower. So that means to make ROI on the smallest miner you would need 150 days of mining, IF the mining profitability is the same in a year, which it won't be - mining profitability always goes down over time.
I hope you ran the numbers before buying, it's just not worth it. Unless of course you are just speculating on the coin price - maybe that will go up, although judging by recent ICO's I wouldn't count on it...
Don't rely solely on mining calculator sites to determine profitability. They are only a guideline to tell you where start your own research, and they mostly don't even list new coins. That's where the money is. As for the price going up? It surely seems likely. The total coin supply will be far smaller than originally anticipated. It will have guaranteed value of 1$ by CleverHash. They will honor market value above that as well. Seems like a wise investment in my opinion.

zzzman,
Thanks for your support. What do you mine with now? do you mine just based on coin profitability calculators or do you mine the latest releases that are not on calculator sites, with less difficulty/competition? Please do read our supporting material in depth, Cleverhash coin is far more that just a coin backed by hardware. In the crypto space, Bitcoin rises and falls and then rises. Results today are different tomorrow. We strongly believe, Bitcoin is just getting started. We could easily see north of 1,000 BTC in the future. I personally mined Litecoins when they were below 42 cents and Bitcoins when they were at $38. The important thing is, supporting this industry during the good and bad times. Thanks for your support.

And if it dumps you can always buy some overpriced mining equipment that you'll get in a year and never be able to ROI with it right? Great idea

When I was mining at home, I would research new coins constantly and always switch to the most promising new coin as soon as it came out, then try to sell at the right time, although I rarely did, and repeat... Took up quite a lot of time although I guess I made pretty good money doing it, but it was a ton of work. Now, mining with GPU's at home is just silly, it wouldn't even pay for electricity. The only mining I do now is cloud mining. I'd say to be reasonable you'd have to price these things at about 300$ per 150 MH/s. Also, these days most promising coins get hit with a ton of hashpower the instant they are released so it's tough to make profit with it unless you rent out GH/s's of power and pick the right one... most are duds. And your point about bitcoin, yes it could definitely see 1000$ again in the future, maybe within the next year... So probably paying 10 BTC for a mining computer that won't be delivered for a year is a bad idea! Lol. I do like the idea for the product though, I'd love to buy one next year for about 2$ per MH/s

This isn't for everyone. I believe it's well worth investing, given the reasons I specified above. Obviously if you just use a multipool or don't research the latest coins your ROI will take longer.

Yea can we get an answer on when the market opens?
Step 1: calm down. Bittrex needs to conduct an audit on any ICO once it finishes. First they need to confirm working wallet, blockchain, and block explorer. Then they'll have to create a burn address, burn the unsold CHASH, and confirm it on the network. Finally they'll release the BTC they escrowed to Cleverhash. As very clearly stated in the terms of this ICO--which I'm sure you read thoroughly and carefully before investing and then perhaps just forgot about-- this takes up to 4 days from the ending of the ICO. If the above doesn't satisfy you, maybe ask in Bittrex's IRC channel.

This is an imaginative idea, nothing more. Things change day-by-day in crypto, how could anyone expect a realistic ROI on hardware promised many months from now? Best of luck to all involved, most of all anyone investing in this.
