why this ccminer sp-mod skunk lag on my rig 4x evga gtx 1070
but work fine on rig 8x evga gtx 1080 ti

Since SP's work is being "stolen"; he does have the right to charge a fee. It's bad for those of us who have donated to SP. His mods are well worth the cost. Last year I bought his spread miner and used it for 6 months until the dev modded the algo and it quit working. I recently sold off all my spr for 1.61btc. That'll get me a new laptop with a 1070 and money left over for a vacation this fall. Oh and my cost basis on the spr was $0.97  question for SP: do you have a package deal if someone wants to buy all the miners? Nowadays; I'll mine a coin until another becomes more profitable. I don't stick to just 1 algo. |

indeed the CPU usage is high.
I have on a Xeon E-1650v3 @4.2GHz @5x1080Ti 60% load of ccminer and on my CPU.
On my rig with a i7-4790K and 6 cards i have 85% load...

Never seen anyone so excited about a coin that isn't even close to being on an exchange, has almost no technical merit (besides a new algo), and really doesn't seem like anything more then a shit coin.

I have 7 GPUs on a dual core i3-7350k. Only seeing about 15-20% CPU usage.

Indeed I was trying/playing with --cuda-schedule auto ..removed it and load is gone for good.
With the latest GameReady Drivers 384.94 I achieve ~52.4MH/s per Ti.

your thoughts? It was a gamble? Your thoughts on this coin staying as a long term solid coin? There are shitcoins launched every day. For every one taking off there are dozens that fail. I prefer not gambling away my power. That being said there is someone that wins the lottery every day, it could be you.  Oh and I can choose to mine a coin at any time I choose. IE when it appears profitable I can hop on the coin on a whim. There is nothing baring me from mining this coin and not prospecting before it's worth and before you can say 'I told you so'. |

Tried 100-110% with MSI 1080 Ti Sea Hawk X. ~1.8-2GHz core clock, -502 MHz GDDR5X. Used --cuda-schedule auto and without. What other parameters are there? On Nvidia 382.33, can't upgrade drivers atm cause this is the most stable for me. CPU time is 99%! |
