Most farm owners have 1060 and 1070 cards. The 1080 and 1080ti series are to expensive, and the most profitable algos on the 1080's will soon have ASIC's.
And four months later... Sp_ needs more new shitalgos otherwise there will be nothing to optimize.

I try run my GTX880M mining ZEC with ccminer but I cannot make correct initialization:
You are in the wrong thread (this one is about SP mods of ccminer) and you're mining zec with a wrong miner (EWBF and DSTM miners are better for ZEC). And on top of that you're trying to mine with an old Kepler generation laptop GPU, which at this point makes ~ zero sense.

I already did a lux mod. It does 40MHASH on the gtx 1080ti,. Ccminer 2.2.3 does 36MHASH on the same clocks. So more than +10%...

We have dirt cheap electricity, stable economy and political system, banking system. + clean energy. 2.5c/kwh usd all included for big data centers. all. included. Everyone wants in. Only problem is, they are all building antminer S9 operations....im going to leave you guys to guess how that will *turn out*

I saw ccminer/SkunkSPmod8, but I cannot see the link for download. Can somebody share the link? Thank you very much. I am using GTX 1080 * 120.
Best regards
Okane Satoshi
It's a paid mod. Looks like you can afford it too. look like asic want to take over other algo
No, nicehash just came back online. Basically idiots feeding their hash into a botnet. Most farm owners have 1060 and 1070 cards. The 1080 and 1080ti series are to expensive, and the most profitable algos on the 1080's will soon have ASIC's.

Mining profits have not. Learning to trade is a better skill the mining. Mining will be going the way of the dodo at some point once again unless you have cheap power. Too many people know about it, it's too easy to do, and it takes almost no skill so it doesn't keep dumbasses out. Dumbasses are more likely to randomly spend money on things they don't understand as well so it makes it even worse, also mine negative when it reaches that point due to not keeping tabs on their profit and they just feed it into services like nicehash. Mining is not sustainable. well here is all about nvidia, i don't really care about amd anymore, only good at ETH and crytonight...

Unless you're getting under $.03 per kwh that's not dirt cheap and the chinese get it for less then that.

No, nicehash just came back online. Basically idiots feeding their hash into a botnet.
Idiots selling cheap to not so idiots who know what to do with that hashing power. Seller is happy, buyer is happy, middleman is happy. Again, hardest work = lowest profit. Pretty sure Amph meant Baikal is about to kill almost all compute(=nvidia)-algos X11-15 all gone. Quark, Qubit gone. myr-gr gone. Most of the Blake variants gone. lbry, pascal, skein gone. Some other profitable compute heavy algos gone too. If something profitable enough comes up it will be, yes, gone. The price of bitcoin quintupled in that time period (still at more then triple value). Mining profits have not. Learning to trade is a better skill the mining. Mining will be going the way of the dodo at some point once again unless you have cheap power. Mining is not sustainable.
Couldn't agree more. With that statement you won't get many supporters here but you already knew that. Still, miners who have roi'd should mine like there's no tomorrow. New guys should find a way to keep close to that chair, music has now been playing almost 30 months, it almost stopped a couple of times... Cash earned from mining is just like every other cash. I know it's easy to buy more mining hardware but is it really the most profitable option? I mean if you want to keep that in crypto there are almost_no_risk options wide open that earn easy 2-4%/ day??? Just remember to take some profits, and have a nice(long?) weekend too! Love you all! From the film Gold (2016), loosely based on the true story of the 1993 Bre-X mining scandal: You want to talk about the truth?
All right, let's talk about the truth.
The only truth here is, when everybody's getting rich,
nobody gives a shit about the truth.
Come the fuck on. All anyone had to do was look,
open their eyes.
Man, the-the gold was wrong, the find was too good.
There were red flags everywhere.
Why did no one look?
'Cause no one wanted to fucking know.
We all wanted to believe.
Me, you, fucking everybody. Why?
Because we were all making so much fucking money, man.
That's the truth.
That's been going on for fucking centuries!

Some other profitable compute heavy algos gone too. If something profitable enough comes up it will be, yes, gone. Images weren't loading earlier when I made that comment. Most of those are Blake which we all knew were doomed (SIA announced their ASIC awhile ago, along with DCR). Sad to see Lbry go, but that's been a long time coming. Pascal was never good. Basically all the algos you can dual mine with. I guess if you can be happy losing 30-50% of your profit. I haven't seen a skein ASIC yet. The price of bitcoin quintupled in that time period (still at more then triple value). Mining profits have not. Learning to trade is a better skill the mining. From the film Gold (2016), loosely based on the true story of the 1993 Bre-X mining scandal: Yeah, I've been messing around with trading a lot more in the past couple months (sadly not very well). Definitely a skillset I need to learn. There are so many people mining now days coin niches evaporate relatively fast as well. It's not like it was even a year ago. Most people don't know how the game is played either and spill the beans on something profitable they found which tanks it immediately.

The current speeds in the x17 beta mod:
gtx 1060 9MHASH gtx 1070 12.5MHASH gtx 1070ti 14MHASH gtx 1080ti 21MHASH
I see improvement on all my cards compared to the fastest opensource miners. Some cards have around +5% and other cards have more.
Not decided what to do with the mod yet. I need to add another 5%. Alot of code, so I think It can be done with more work.
Have you improved on this yet?

Anyone else had issues with bitcore and multi-gpu systems? I can run all day on my desktop with 2 1070's on bitcore with no problem but when I run on my 6 gpu rig it freezes after a few minutes. I've tried various cpu-priority settings and intensity with no luck. No problems running the rig on any other algo. All defaults, no OC. So are there any alternative miners or fixes to this? Oh... and are there any us-based bitcore pools? thx Thanks for any insight. happy new year caveat: i'm using ccminer 2.2.0 and various other ccminers like 2.3.0 but I haven't purchased the sp_mod and probably won't at this time because I can't justify it.
