You should mod the tesla driver from GPU 106-100 (same as 1060) or even better GPU-104-100 (same as 1070). It seems like huge pages are activated with the tesla driver (same as AMD blockchain driver which also supports huge pages). Big boost to memory intensive algos.

Someone have stolen my work and spread for free. Early version with slower hashrates. And the stolen version has alot of hits on the antivirus software. (try virus total) 1. Hashrate might be slightly lower, but missing devfee 2. Check your own miner with virus total, you will find it full of trojans ) 4. Someone paid you for the miner, and then decided it worth to distribute it. Soft is GNU based, so should be distributed for free 3. You have violated GNU license so many times, so not you should complain about stolen work So he's insinuating you can find SPs miner places for free. You're talking about a open source miner. Yeah, all the miners here are full of trojans. XD That's not the way it works bro. If SP stops making miners, are you going to make them because big farms sure as hell are. I know it's a knee jerk reaction to do whatever works in your favor, but not supporting SP is literally blowing off both your feet and then wondering why you can't stand. Some of us have been around here long enough to know what it's like when private invisible miners start to dominate the scene. Not sure why your numbers are backwards? I guess you couldn't count upwards or were too lazy to change it? Open source work can't be 'stolen'. That's why it's open source. Just chuck you on top of the certified dumbass list along with the rest. You want free things (everyone does, right?), but can't think far enough ahead to figure out what happens when they dry up.

I justed wanted to ask if there's maybe a discount if you're using the mod on only one rig with 8 GPU's? 22 Mh on phi for 1070s sounds great but the price tag is rather made for the mining farms.

New to the community here. Is there a FAQ or any documentation that discusses what the .05 BTC donation includes. For example, what is a private miner, what are the updates, and what are the advantages of using these miners for that price?
I'm sure this has been discussed in the past but I've gone through several pages and haven't seen anything. There's just too much history in this thread to completely dig though.
Thanks.
I would also be thankful to be introduced to the theme or to be forwarded to an FAQ.

Some of you are making a shitload of money right now using my mods. If you think it's to expensive buy more cards, or keep mining ethereum or zcash. And for the ppl who steal my work and resell. You have no shame. You should support the optimizer, and ignore the scammers.
btw: rally today!!

My 4 year old 750ti's have been making $1.50 a day @ 35 watt with the sp-mod (300h/s) Windows 7. The cryptonote coins are prospering. Ring signatures, and anonymous transactions. Look's like alot of fiat is moved to anons after the new 4000 page EU directive to the banks.

Have you ever read GNU license? It is free, but there are certain obligations, including open source your own staff. So, shame to those who violate it

Open source work can't be 'stolen'. That's why it's open source.
Have you ever read GNU license? It is free, but there are certain obligations, including open source your own staff. So, shame to those who violate it I have, it's been talked about here multiple times, no it's not stealing. People add a GPL license to make sure it stays 'free', but in this case as has been talked about multiple times, it's perfectly legal for big companies or farms to modify it and use it internally without distributing it to anyone else. Where as someone like SP who can sell a miner to other individuals (which would further distribute crypto wealth) gets locked out. It's a catch all and this is one of the few cases where the GPL isn't doing what it's intended to do and instead leads to a case where it's abused by the few powerful. In other words I give no shits about GPL licensing. If there was some sort of feasible way for SP to do what he's currently doing and be GPL compliant I would encourage it. But no, rewriting every piece of code from the ground up is a huge waste of time considering big farms don't need to do it. No, making his 'private' bins open is not an answer either as then people simply sell them themselves or redistribute the work which completely negates him trying to sell his work. This is the cog where GPL falls apart and fails miserably. When someones job depends on writing code and they aren't big enough to completely internalize the coding process (a huge farm or company). I can 100% guarantee you aren't a large farm owner and also don't write code as you wouldn't be begging SP with GPL slaps to get his, so what is your end game? He's not going to open source his code. If you get him to stop writing it, you no longer have a option to buy something big farms will be making on their own. That's why I mentioned you have no idea what you're talking about as all you can see right now is 'me me me me' and not long term. The amount of shits people around here actually give about GPL licensing extends as far as they can threaten people to make more money. If people didn't see it as a way to get things for free that earn them more money no one would even be talking about it. The GPL threats are just a means to the end of getting free things. If you're a open source programmer and really want GPL licensing to be a thing that's respected around here, make a miner that takes closed source bins. I've talked about this before and I have no means of doing it. IE a miner that takes binaries or encrypted modules, which protects not only coders who want to sell their speed increases, but the general GPL code which is used for everything else (like stratums). What, no? You don't give that much of a shit about GPL... Ah I see... You see, we're all hypocrites around here. That's why the shits I give about this is approximately 0.

sp does open source at least some of his modifications eventually. That's good enough, and he has therefore contributed infinitely more than most of the people whining for him to make everything 'free'. I can't believe he has to endure so many idiots begging for others to leak his stuff in this very thread.

this is not true. You may sell products based on GNU, the obligation is to provide sources of your product upon request.
