Hi Scottbit, Fred here from Ardeva.

Ardeva is a registered Canadian company located in Laval, Quebec, Canada.

Once we approve documents you send us, they are encrypted directly by our system with a public key, while the private key is stored on a few USB drives at safe locations. Once a week, we move all encrypted files from the server to external offline storage as an extra layer of security. We basically parse the required informations from your documents, save them in our database, and then encrypt the files. We don't use your ID/documents for anything except for legal purposes (i.e. you run away with somebody's BTC).

I hope that answered your concerns, and I invite you to contact us at hello@ardeva.com if you have any questions about our service.

Regards,
Frederic Houle
Ardeva Founder

But you do store someone's complete identity information. Bitcoin was supposed to be anonymous. But then again catching scammers wont be possible, oh wait.. I totally forgot, scammers use their own identities online !! They would never steal someone's identity to scam someone else, oh no.
Yes that makes so much sense.

Sorry to resurrect a very old post, but after sending my verification documents to Ardeva last week. The website is giving me a : "Error code 16
This request was blocked by the security rules" and denying me access. just showing a spash screen hosted by some company called incapsula.

https://www.incapsula.com/why-am-i-seeing-this-page.html?src=23&utm_source=blockingpages

I was going to start a new topic but I thought it would be better to keep all the info about them in one place.

Just concerns me that after sending all the info off that suddenly it looks like I am blocked from accessing their servers :/

Regards
A

Update:

Emailed support on the above email address with this response:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

     hello@ardeva.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain ardeva.com by smtp.secureserver.net. [68.178.213.37].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1 <hello@ardeva.com> Recipient not found.  <http://x.co/irbounce>

Doesnt look good, I would warn others about this website

Fed Up of ARDEVA

They are a scam/documents/laundering/hub.

Tried on many occasions to attempt to verify my documents, but they keep asking over and over for clearer copies (apparently a picture from a iPhone 6+ isn't high enough quality)

AVOID with all caution as it just seems to be a document harvesting expedition.

Regards

ardeva is no longer a canadian company, has been bought by btcpop and is a fully registered english company now.
they are not a scam hub, as you claim, i have been registered there for over a year, and never an issue.
there was recently a lot of pop members registered, due to moving out of btcjam and their staff have been backlogged, so there may be some issues, but emails should be working again.
