commenter, your weird math hurts my brain...
I get that finally making some money in crypto is exciting for you, but please stop spamming the thread.

My weird math makes purfect sense, and I'm not spamming nothing. I was replying to the post.
I deleted my replies to that guy. If you want the other comments gone, he has to erase them not me.

As per my math were at 2,674.0 x 0.00174 = $4.67, so If everyone would have held like said we would be at $4.67.

Obviously people would get hurt having to buy back in at higher prices. So they don't like what I'm posting.
Because they're try to sell tops and buy bottoms. If we all hold at the top, it becomes the new bottom it would push the price up. If you buy Block take off the market don't sell it lower, make them pay for it just hold it. You loose nothing because it's paired with Bitcoin, so if we're all on board to hold it will only appreciate in price with Bitcoin rising.
I'm sorry if my comment has affected you in a negative way.

In my opinion you are wasting your time doing this kind of math and trying to influence newbies to hold or buy.

I'm here because I read the white paper 8 years ago, not because bitcoin went from 10k giveaways to $3k per BTC.

Once you realize that the dollar value of cryptocurrencies means next to nothing you will have a much better experience being part of the revolution.

And if blocknet really solves the last major problem of the crypto ecosystem you will not have to worry about the dollar value of any coin ever again.

It is a brave new world. Just enjoy it.

Never invest more than you can afford to lose!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

3. Early UI work is underway:

Why is the latest transaction in mid-2015? Also the copyright at the bottom of the screen saying @ 2015 BLOCKNET INC makes be inclined to believe that was when that page was published...considering BLOCKNET started in 2014. What have you been doing for the last nearly 2 years if posting up a 'progress' pic taken 20+ months ago is one of your highlights of development

It's clear you are trying to troll the project rather than genuinely research.

I have already told you that you can see all of the active development in GitHub over the last two years.

I also already told you the UI work is only just beginning. I believe the UI dev will be working with our old mock ups from ages ago.

The problem is this person has already made there money and moved on. I hope the moderator has thier IP address. The moderator should delete comments like this immediately. You can clearly see from their posting history that they have done this on multiple boards. I'm reporting them right now.

the exact picture has been posted months ago .. tbh this is clearly an approach to raise the interest in block .. also creating a new OP has been announced ages ago

I don't like people playing games with my money. I don't like people playing games with my money.

I am also invested in BLOCK, but to be honest this project stuck in 2014, when I was leaving crypto for some time, now after 3 year, I came again and nothing changed, no progress, just BLOCK scrypt algo Wink  Cheesy

I'm not spamming, but when someone comes on here and pushes down the price of my investment and no one takes down thier post. I push their post back. Why don't you delete thier post ? I have a right to be ticked and psssst off buy these trolls. The post is still up we know thier a troll look at their history. I'm getting sick of it. Take it down ! When you comment on it it makes it worse. Get thier IP address and report them. I'm sick of these Trolls its every message board.

Do you think I want to be invested in something that any troll can start posting and push down my investment.
The post is still up do you think that's helping.

I don't like people playing games with my money. I don't like people playing games with my money.

it's crypto at least 50% of all coins are steered through pump and dump / fomo , fud and hype .. if you cannot afford to lose your cash then don't invest in this high risk market. However if you made an investment in this project you are a supporter so convince the community about the positive facts of this coin (which you surely investigated before your investment) rather than trying to hide the fud by spamming messages which makes it obvious that you want to hide that this project is pretty bad communitcated / it's progress is askworthy ..

Is Blocknet anonymous in any form/shape/or way?
Please explain.

Can someone please answer my question?

Here's a quote from the Blocknet FAQ (work in progress at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LVOl-EYVJDWFs5f8wWOTW4FjZx4llvzQZUF8JUxCLUM/edit#heading=h.s9nslts29pk9) which should help answer your question:

HOW PRIVATE IS THE DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGE?
Because decentralized exchanges do not require traders to submit KYC information or divulge anything else about themselves to a third party, traders enjoy a naturally high degree of privacy.

However, for most wallets, aspects of transactions are linkable to IP addresses, so in order to obfuscate that, one might use TOR or I2P. The Blocknet’s DHT network overlay does not use IP addresses, however.
Combined with any privacy-centric coin, a decentralized exchange run over IP-obfuscating tech is a near-perfect mixing solution. For example, one may trade some coins for Zcash, sends them to a different address, and then trade back again.

Those of you who would like a less frustrating conversation on this thread have two options, and I hope you take both of them:

- change the subject and stop bickering

- join Slack: http://blocknet.herokuapp.com

From the other thread:

@UMadorMyrin

I posted that picture.

I posted it because the developers used @sadochismo's mockup from two+ years ago and implemented an early-stage frontend.

I am well aware of the many signs of its creation date:
- the text (c) Blocknet 2015"
- the price of Bitcoin on the chart
- the fact that we recently published the actual mockups and were explicit that they are from a while back

My point is that the mockups are old.

The news was that the mockups (i.e. rasterised images) have been pulled into a frontend.
Devs don't edit rasterised images, they just slice them up and use them.

If you are in any doubt about whether development is ongoing, I encourage you to check https://github.com/atcsecure/blocknet/branches on a weekly basis.
From there you can find the active branch and see what we're working on.

This is likely to be my last post on this thread. Please join Slack if you would like to ask further questions.

tbh still looks like they are not doing anything than just take mockups from 2015 and edit it with a notepad since they don't have access to the design files lol Cheesy it would take 2 seconds to adjust the date and a lot of ppl would find trust again .. with this doodle on that images https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.msg18695699#msg18695699 lol

@UMadorMyrin, you are not welcome to post on this thread.

I have responded to you in a reasonable manner twice on another thread, and you have not engaged my points
Instead, you have twice attempted to cast other, new aspersions. This indicates that you are not genuinely checking our credibility, but are just trying to create an atmosphere of suspicion.

We have no interest in the work of those who engineer social toxicity on Bitcointalk.

Goodbye.

The point here is that there is no reason not to trust us, given the existence of our working decentralised exchange and our continual work for over 2 years.

Secondly, my posting those images is (a) honest evidence of where we are at, which is an early stage, and (b) evidence of my trust in the Bitcointalk audience to not try to create suspicion and fear out of thin air.

Since (b) is misguided, there are two ways forward:
- we can deprecate this thread again and focus on the healthy community in Slack
- we can carry on in here, and ignore/avoid replying to those whose intention is to arouse suspicion

For the moment, I am going with the latter approach. I encourage everyone in here not to respond to "fud". Just leave it alone. Don't cause the entire thread to be debased by that sort of conversation.
