Ermm No.. Because they already have a working UI (beta) at the moment. Alright jokes aside, Yeah I wold say so. I just hope blocknet manages to release it's UI out in the wild soon too. It's good to have competition in the market. you get better product and services.. |

Binance reopened but bittrex still closed. look at Kucoin cap. Need UI this month. |

Please be serious.... if you understood the deeper mechanisms of blocknet and crypto bridge it is not fair to class them in the same league. Blocknet is a full atomic swap DEX. This is nothing like the form of decentralisation crypto bridge uses. Cryptobridge is better than normal exchanges by far but blocknet is in another league altogether. If i were to rate like this normal centralised exchange 1/10 crypto bridge 5/10 blocknet 10/10 that would be an indication that does not translate to valuation if i were to value crypto bridge at 400M I would likely value blocknet in fully finished form with good uptake at 40 Billion however in terms of speed of devlepment and execution blocknet 3/10 i only hope our great grandchildren are around to appreciate how great blocknet will be when released in usable form for 95%+ of users. the only slower one is maidsafe... we are talking glacial time frame here. Therefore the species/life forms that will benefit from their final product is unknown. |

Haha indeed seems like the real solid projects tend to move slow but maybe it just seems like that since the hype train didn't pass our station yet. It's frustrating sometimes to wait so long for the results of a good project and you have moments you doubt yourself but then when I read up on Blocknet (or maid as a extreme example of slow mover) I remember why I choose these projects and get all excited again about the tech and it feels impossible it won't succeed since you see such big use cases for the technology in the end.

Yes I understand the mechanism of blocknet and agree on it's superiority but AVERAGE USERS DON'T CARE. Therefor yes it is a competition. i only hope our great grandchildren are around to appreciate how great blocknet will be when released in usable form for 95%+ of users.
lol.. I get the sarcasm. Hopefully they pull it off sometime sooner! Wishing them all the best. But until then? hey! we will keep getting photoshoped images of the dex! lol just going to have to be happy with that for now. however in terms of speed of devlepment and execution blocknet 3/10
My thought is somewhat similar. But recently they have added few new developers to their team, so the pace should pickup. The github repo already looks a lot more active then ever before. Anyway, will continue to wait for the product, and hopefully it will come soon. If not then please some more photoshop images please! we need something to hold onto!  |

I feel the main thing holding blocknet back is the requirements to own a masternode. 5000 coins is too much. It should be 500 or 1000 at most. The barrier to entry is too high. Consider reducing the requirement or making tiered nodes like XBY. |

I think it mainly has to do with the fact that there's been hardly any marketing so far, and that the focus was only on tech and development. It hasn't generated any hype yet, so the people who are investing, mostly have a better understanding of what they are investing in.

it could be a weakness for blocknet, but also remember that most projects are empty with all being smokes and mirrrors. That is the general trend in crypto right now. Blocknet actually have something behind it, which is a nice change for once. |
