Hey Blocknet community members,

We are excited to announce that the Sharednodes platform has officially launched. We provide masternodes for Blocknet. If you would like to participate in the masternode system for Blocknet, but do not possess enough funds to purchase a masternode outright, or lack the technical knowledge to do so, that is where we come in!

Simply go to our platform, sign up, send over some BTC, and purchase ‘portions’ in a node. Users receive staked coins in their user dashboard section as soon as they are mined. They can withdraw to their personal wallets immediately or request a conversion to BTC. Unlike our competitors, there is no waiting period to start staking. Furthermore, users can sell their portions at any time and the node remains online and continues to mine for the remainder of the portion holders. 85% of all staking rewards are passed onto the users, and 15% are kept as a service fee. We also feature a referral system. Simply give a friend your unique signup link or post it online and receive 2.5% of all mining rewards earned by the users that sign up using your link.

These days too many accounts suspensions and blocking happening in outer world and exchanges with KYC are against the basic concept of Peer 2 peer for what cryptocurrencies were created. I think all these unnecessary restrictions are opening way for decentralized exchanges to fill the gap. The process of adoption for Dex's is taking time but there popularity and adoption is inevitable.

Decentralized exchanges are a huge thing, but will performance be an issue at least for the designs that are currently out there? What are the trade-offs?

So do I need to do anything to get the 100x coins? Or just do nothing and eventually my balance will be 100x? Also, is it worth it to run a service node currently? I couldn't find any statistics on them. Is it only the top 20 service nodes that get paid? What if there is more than 20 service nodes?

You won't have to do a thing and your Blocknet address will automatically be updated by moving the decimal over two places. I imagine it'll be a hard fork anyways and there will be a new wallet to use.

Since creating my first service node it has never been cheaper to own one. I've been receiving two types of rewards, the 70% cut of new coins generated thru POS and 0.015 Block for each transaction my snode supports. And that's just the beginning, we expect to see fees for the XRouter and something called the XCloud (waiting on more info from the devs).

Is there any decent step by step instructions on how I would set up a service node? What was the documentation saying about how there is only 20 in the queue or something? If I set one up I can host a couple blockchains I suppose. Is there any hardware requirements or anything?

You can read more at their github for the setup: https://github.com/BlocknetDX/blocknet-docs/blob/master/blocknetDXservice-node.md

and Here is a new document portal being worked on: https://docs.blocknet.co/

Hardware limits are basically HD space and memory. If you're going to support twenty wallets you better have enough memory for it.

I've never heard about the 20 in que thing and I've followed from the start. That sounds like a game of telephone, purple monkey dishwasher.

I would like to appreciate the hard work of the team they have more advanced approach as compare with any project. This is moving forward under the radar we can mark it as hidden gem and it could bring the big revolution who will change the concept of online trading.

The following link details how to setup a service node: https://github.com/BlocknetDX/blocknet-docs/blob/master/blocknetDXservice-node.md

As for the 20 service node thing, it sounds like you're referring to the "winners" list masternode blockchains use to pick a valid node to receive payment.  In a nutshell, the 0.7 BLOCK reward is paid to a valid service node in the top 20, and once paid, that service node rotates out of the top 20... making the aggregate service node list rolling.

People are running after new Dex'x which are neither tested nor backed by well known developers when Blocknet is providing complete solutions. I don't understand what is keeping Block at back foot and why it didn't see adoption at large level yet. It is best solution and fully reliable at the same time. Dex's are rising and Blocknet can't be ignored even it is not getting attention which it deserves.

So i am assuming i don't need to do anything if i have coins in bittrex, upbit or cryptopia. Least i hope not, i have too much diversity in coins and it's hard to keep up every swap.

Wait what? there is a 100x split? Now coins are behaving like penny stocks! Sorry I only spent like 2 seconds catching up so far but I'm interested if anyone can TLDR.
