It will be interesting to see whether the dev keeps the price point, or if he will raise the price due to the increased interest after the holiday delay.
personally I think he should lock the price at around 25000 sat for the first 1000 subscribers, so that speculators feel like they are getting a bargain.
lets face it, the only reason this coins price is so low is because it is still flying under the radar.

well that and because at the moment distribution, though fair, still sucks...

Are you suggesting 25000 sat ?

if the price holds yes.  I think that pegging the price to 10k is a bit low now that the price is already 10k.
the speculators may not buy a subscription, and if the price moves above the pegpoint to quickly vior gateway may look like an expensive alternative to some of the other voip services.

im sure you have a plan though, was just my 2 cents

you can turn it off, just remember to unlock the wallet when you do turn it on.
of course the community would prfer you stake whenever possible, because it helps to secure the network.

are you one of the devs? i really would like to suggest making an android/ios.

can you teach me what is encrypting for?

if i turn on my wallet then i should unencrypt it for me to stake? then when i turn it off my pc i should encrypt it?

i dont even know what encrypting does? is it something protecting your wallet from hackers?

Hey Guys, finally decided to jump in here because this project is awesome. We have a small crypto community in New Zealand and I'm promoting ViorCoin's services! Along with the fact it costs a shitload to call anywhere else in the world privately and securely maybe it will take off here as well.

If you don't encrypt your wallet then you are a sitting duck, especially if your on windows, the whole point of encrypting your wallet is to stop theft, so better do it ASAP. Set a strong password too.

Every time you want to stake all you need do is unlock your wallet for staking.

One last thing also back up your wallet.dat file and save it to a usb drive, (just in case your PC dies).

It is not a bad option, as if the price rises, the gateaway will be expensive compared with other services

The Dev said the peg can start at 10k and gradually move up! So maybe we can start at 25k and gradually move up to 26.5k 29k 32k... who knows how far it will go, but I think it's wise to keep the peg updated so that VIOR is always competitive and cheaper than the other spying shit programs like skype.
