I can create another newbie account for free, or buy another for cheap

If you can find someone that would buy a newbie account for 1 BTC, I'd be a billionaire. It's still basically selling a good, although I don't see why some people would necessarily want an account that's got a reputable status, aside from being able to enroll in higher-paying signature campaigns

i dont see accs go for much anymore these days, i see even hero accounts for less than 0.5btc so i dont think it's worth it. it's too much of a hassle for me to make a new acc and go through all the newbie restrictions just for some small amount of btc.

People who have any sort of reputation on their accounts shouldn't sell it. Probably 99% of the time it's going to go to scamming another person

Yes, you can go to digital goods in the marketplace to buy and sell accounts. But I don't know if you will get a lot for a member account.

Was PrimeDice's sig campaign the highest paying one? How much do you think you'd be able to sell your account for?

As I heard somewhere sometime, everything has a price. The only difference is what that price is.  Wink

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

I wouldn't.

My account is my property, and is a representation of my professional standing, as I do freelance.
