Try bootstrap and it should work;

download the bootstrap.dat file and place it into your StealthCoin folder at User/AppData/Roaming/StealthCoin and it should do the magic by itself.

You won't be able to sync new StealthClient  "the old fashioned way".
Use the bootstrap.dat and let your computer validate the chain.

What's going on with Slack? I got booted off again (I never posted anything). My email/password just stopped working again. Then it says that my email does not exist in the system. I checked it periodically, but wasn't posting. I am struggling with both an alcohol & Valium addiction & figured it would be best to be quiet until I get over this, as I can act irrational at times. I still want to know what's going on in Slack & with Stealth.
I am quiet for a reason, but I would still like to keep an eye on what's going on.

if you have used the above link and followed these directions exactly, simply close and reopen the client.  but all steps need to be followed.  it is not difficult, i can walk you thru if you pm me.

There looks to be a little mistake in the instructions, which were left over from the old database system.

Try the instructions below (note the difference in blue). We'll fix the OP and FAQ.


StealthCoin Syncing Made Easy

1. Back up your wallet
2. Stop the old client
3. Go to the application data directory
4. Remove blk0001.dat, txleveldb (directory), database (directory), db.log, and debug.log
5. Download the zipped bootstrap file from https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1YRzd1VVNXM0JrWEE/view?usp=sharing
6. Unpack the bootstrap file into the application data directory
7. Start the new client
8. For the new client your computer will pause momentarily at 71% to fill the key pool (you may not notice)
9. The progress will pause at 91% for as much as one hour (up to 2 hours for old computers!) to validate the bootstrap file
10. The chain may take 5 to 10 minutes to sync

The correction is that txleveldb must also be removed. The old instructions omitted that step.
