@Igotspots. How many MMXIV will it cost for the staking hardware? Do you have an exact date of availability? What effect will it have on Snowballs? Will it cause the staking to work like before December 25th 2014?

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

That really sucks. Everyone needs to start taking their local security very seriously. Please stop downloading clients from unreputable sources. Every client you download from someone that is not trusted is just asking for this to happen. There are a lot of smart people here and, unfortunately, some of them use their knowledge maliciously. These people can put anything they want into the client, knowing people will blindly download it. Please...I feel for your loss, but everyone has to be very careful and extremely diligent on securing your personal wealth. Don't rely on anything except your own judgement. This is not the first time a client has allowed access via TeamViewer, and unfortunately, I'm sure it won't be the last as long as people keep jumping the gun and downloading garbage I very highly suggest an immediate backing up of important data, reformat, and starting your OS from scratch, or this will continue to happen I know this might be bad to say (pool owners) but this is the main reason why I stopped trying to solo mine new coins (or wait a few days if no pools available) and use the pools to hold my coins until the wallet is been out for a few days or send the coins straight to an exchange to sell, especially if the coin only has a few days of POW. I understand the above was a little different as the wallet came from a secondary source.
|
If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks

Quick update on the staking hardware wallet Batch 2 is complete! The final test phase has gone well and we are just about ready to start unleashing these to the public. However! Before we open up sales for batch 2, we are going to be raffling off a few. Some people have been asking us to bring the S3 Raffle back and do an S5, but I think we will do a few for our specialized devices
The price per entry will be 1 MMXIV and we will be picking multiple winners. The format this time will be a little different than past raffles
More information very soon
Regardless of the raffle, how do I sign up for one of the staking devices? Thanks The units are finally complete. We will be opening sales after the raffles are done. Remember, you only need one Snowball to stake both BALLS and MMXIV on the same device Count me in for the raffle as well! How to contact you for MMXIV raffle address? Thanks.

All synced up, and just got my first stake! Can also confirm it was about 8-9 days (12/30-1/8).
I am also getting a few orphans. But no biggie, I'm assuming its just because I had over 1 million stake weight when it started.

Don't worry about the orphans you will get the same stake mount that was orphaned sometime later.

That's the current block. Stake weight is just low. It will speed up again when more coins mature

Introducing...The SnowballThe Snowball is the first unit of its kind. Not only is this a live, hardware wallet, but depositing coins to the addresses in this device will ensure your coins are always ready to stake on a stable, secure storage of wealth. Not only will this unit run nonstop, but now there are no more worries about forgetting to open your client or leaving a dedicated staking computer running at all times. Powered by nearly the small footprint of a cell phone charger, The Snowball aims to provide the first, and most energy efficient, staking hardware available on the market The Snowball runs on a very low energy operating system with extremely efficient hardware featuring a simple, straight-forward setup that we are able to provide at an affordable price. The best thing about this unit is that you only need 1 or 2 of them; it is not a large investment for an extra layer of security and peace of mind that your funds are safe and accounted for
VERSION 2 IS COMPLETE The raffles will start very soon- 1 MMXIV per entry
- 1 Winner per drawing
- 1 Entry per person per drawing
- Maximum of 25 entries per winner
- International participants are welcome
All raffle winners will have their units sent out the same day we open actual sales. We have not posted an exact date, yet, but these units are ready to roll whenever we are ready to press the button Every 25 entries a winner will be drawn. You are free to enter as many as you'd like, but only allowed a 4% chance at a win (1 entry) per drawing. Anyone found using sockpuppets will be disqualified from all future drawings. They may or may not be refunded, depending on whether they are remorseful for cheating or not Entries and addresses will be handled via private message, with a public ledger of entries, just as we've always done
