Staking starts tomorrow at noon GMT - New clients are already out, hard fork for lower, though still significant, fees to enable coin sending will go live very shortly. New clients are already out. If you haven't updated, you will no longer be able to connect to those of us who have once the fork goes live at 1414900800

What have the fees been changed to?

Ah damn you beat me to my edit just above you  Wink  It's in the OP, too, in parenthesis for others that need to know in the future

   Correct me if I'm wrong.  That's 6.4 balls per transaction.   Minimum...

I would correct you, but you are not wrong. Remember, 1,000,000 are mined from PoW, yes, so the transaction fee feels high right now. Very shortly, however, the moneysupply will increase exponentially. And very quickly

The new fees are now live. Send coins wherever you wish...but be wise with them, the network likes to destroy high fees!

so i got the new wallet from this thread , is it okay to withdraw from suprnova?

I would wait until the pool op posts the all clear, just to be safe

That being said...if your pool has updated and opened withdrawals, please post it here so I can mark your pool as updated and safe to withdraw from in the OP

Okay i've did some tests and a withdrawal of 10 and 100 coins yielded a fee of 6.4 coins per withdrawal which is quite a lot still.

I've updated and opened manual withdrawals now, you can withdraw your funds now, just make sure you're not doing lots of small withdrawals as your coins will be "eaten up" by the fees. Do one (or two) large payments to your wallet.

As soon as some withdrawals have been made and everything went fine I'll update here.

Haven't heard anything from anyone other than ocminer

Btw, just got a withdraw from Suprnova. Are you confident that I can mark it as safe to withdraw?

Fees are really insane:

        "account" : "",

        "category" : "send",
        "amount" : -14739.29010300,
        "fee" : -275.20000000,
        "confirmations" : 0,

    }

    {
        "account" : "",

        "category" : "send",
        "amount" : -16210.22668000,
        "fee" : -309.77332000,
        "confirmations" : 5,
        "blockhash" : "000000000000094851785600b0eee63c06d266f733bb2e351f711a37c75973fb",

        "time" : 1414914910
    },

How can I calculate the fees ? If I let withdrawals open it'll eat up the pools wallet - as I was calculating fixed 6.4 coins peer withdrawals.

But > 300 coins per withdrawal (thats almost 10 blocks from the coin just for sending coins ) ..  Huh Shocked
