I have now 969 balls to stake. I am hoping tonight they stake the first babies.

No coin control? or am I missing it?
Not yet. We are still testing it with Maieuticoin. You can check the pre-release of version 1.0.3, it's still got a couple issues, but we are close. Once we have that completed, we can put coin control into BALLS much easier

The maturity time is only 24 hours, so not having coin control isn't as bad as it is with coins that you have to hold for months before staking
I was wondering if you had left Coin Control out for getting a smaller footprint for the RasPi - deliberately leaving out all non-essential features, though that can make managing coins (optimizing staking) more difficult over time, so I am happy to see that you want to add it to a future release.
I had the impression that there were a few issues with the client (Qt Wallet on Windows) as I needed to close and restart the wallet several times to get it to sync up (I had not run my wallet a few days after trying to find one of the PoW blocks, which I failed in. So, I bought some coins yesterday and tonight they will stake - I will have to run my laptop continuously so I am looking forward to compiling the wallet for RasPi and running it stand-alone from a cell phone charger.

You can just turn your laptop back on when it's about to stake.

SnowBalls is going strong. It's nice to see we have no dumpers, coin is at this moment really scarce. There are less than 2 million coins in circulation and marketcap is around 50K to 60K! Lot's of room for growth, 10x is easy with a community that seems to consist of senior members who know how to trade and when to hold  Grin

Love the snowman in the background. Is there a link to a paper wallet generator? If I missed it in the op I apologize.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State BlockNet can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State BlockNet to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State BlockNet.” - Joseph Goebbels

Did you get my PM?  Smiley

I just made 50 more balls trading now and got 1k almost staking their first ball bags tonight. I think once the sell wall is eaten on POLO is clear to 30k sat easy.

    • Name conf file mmxiv.conf in Roaming/Snowballs Folder
      • This is an important step for all Snowball hardware
      • If self compiling, it will make as MMXIV-Qt/snowballsd

    ......

    Snowball Hardware Information Thread
    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=828734
    [/list]

So, I downloaded the Windows wallet and it doesn't do anything, not even try to start. I made a folder in the Appdata/Roaming with mmxiv.conf file in there too. Am I doing it wrong or is it a common fixable issue? I'm running Windows 8.1.
