This right here shows you a real future of Bitcoin and it is bright. Several weeks ago another French bank in its report has admitted that cryptocurrencies can completely change the banking world.

Type it in google and you will see yhat I am talking about.

Many people are showing their interest by investing in the bitcoins. As they know that its gonna be a good tool for investment and can give maximum returns on the investment in the future and future of bitcoin totally depends on the adoption of the people.

i doubt so, because the market isn't reflecting those "Many people" that have invested in bitcoin, showing interest is different from investing, there still  big uncertain out there, form average joe

the price increased by a small value, so indeed someone invested but not so much as a many think, the good thing is that the demand is rising slowly

I have a question. When Blockchain is mentioned, does it refer to the blockchain used for Bitcoin transactions?

I would like to start a discussion about the future of Bitcoin.
The following is my prognosis
The future of Bitcoin
After vears of trying to break the blockchain technology that runs Bitcoin, the bankers and governements finally realized that because blockchiain was a public ledger that kept all transaction and that this ledger could not be hacked or falsified; Bitcoin could not be stopped or blocked. Like email, and i-porn, it used the internet highway and without destroying the internet and its highways of communication, the blockchain technology could not be blocked.

The banks and governments decided on another plan called “f you can`t beat them, join them”. They decided that their only chance was to buy up all the Bitcoins. They started small and encouraged Bitcoin`s price to drop by demanding regulation, not realizing that the blockchain is just a public ledger that can not be regulated. The threat of regulation caused the price of Bitcoin to drop, and when the banks and government thought that the price of Bitcoin would not go any lower, they started to buy up Bitcoins. When people realized that the banks and governments were buying up the Bitcoins, the price of Bitcoins soared in an avalanche. This made banks and governments very rich.

Bitcoin became to be used as electronic money that could not be falsified or tampered with and that could be used as electronic cash replacing coins and notes. The banks and governments started to encourage the use of Bitcoin and replaced their coins and notes with Bitcoins. Then they replaced their plastic credit cards with chips that were implanted and that allowed money transactions to be made much faster and conveniently than with Bitcoin. They made their own centralized and regulated version of Bitcoin and called it i-coin.

After i-coin became convincingly more appealing than Bitcoin, i-coin became widely accepted. Bitcoin became outdated and old fashioned and the price of Bitcoin started to drop. Then there came a time where the only ones that were using Bitcoins were the ones that were afraid of the chip implants, and those that were afraid of the corrupt banks.
Then the corrupt criminals got on the Bitcoin bandwagon, and Bitcoins started to be outlawed in many countries. The decentralized Bitcoin miners - the keepers of the public ledger - became scarcer and scarcer and were overtaken by centralized criminal miners.

Bitcoin became what it started out as-. electronic cash for buying illegal goods. Eventually, the criminals took it over to use as their own black cash for trading one illegal good for another. This caused a boom in illegal goods, and made the criminals very wealthy.

As bitcoin users we have to be optimistic and support bitcoins. No matter what people spread rumors related to bitcoins. We have faith in bitcoin that it can earn us best profit in the coming future.
As the mass adoption comes into play, we would see the difference in the value of bitcoins, and surely it would hit the mainstream in coming future.

When you aren't feeling optimistic you only need to watch one of Andreas Antonopolous lectures. He's got the knowledge and he's got the way to motivate people. You always learn something new, it's a good way to keep up to date with Bitcoin news without having to read any website.

Motivation is something that comes from within, and not by listening to others lectures. His job is to motivate people and he is getting paid for that, but for us a investor, it's our decision that will make a difference in our own lives. Learning something new is a good thing to do, as I don't think that anyone can judge the future of bitcoins.

As more and more people read or hear about the bitcoins, they would surely be keen to know what exactly bitcoin is, how it works, what are the advantages, what are the disadvantages, and if they get a proper guidance at that particular time than surely they would atleast try once using bitcoins and once they use it they are into it  Grin

Bitcoin has its work cut out for it. It will not be an easy journey replacing our archaic monetary systems. Powerful institutions have not taken it seriously yet and when they do, lets hope its too late to stop the btc rebellion.

Bitcoin has made massive headways into the mainstream financial world. Although not accepted by all, it will continue to grow and prosper, despite those who would prefer to see it shut down. More trouble will arise for bitcoin, but it will overcome and persevere.

But I don't think the powerful institutions will so easily will accept to consider BTC as a official currency. The reason is simple they want track all the transactions but with btc it is almost impossible or quite challenging.
