I think you are a little bit wrong because bitcoin won't really replace a lot of banks i think that bitcoin will become one of the main banks.

Is Bitcoin simply a 21st century version of gold, only without the storage issues? Or is it just a short-lived popular fad that may soon evolve into something quite different? Only time will tell. The only certainty is that its price will remain very volatile in the future.

Banks know that bitcoin can pose a threat to their hegemony over the wealth of people, so they will first try to distract interest from cryptocurrencies, if it fails then they will try to sabotage it by initially hopping onto the train, and try to destabilize it from the inside. Even if that fails, you gotta take into account that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are ideal for people practicing illegal transactions, as they can conduct trade without giving much information. They can do it now, but it'll be easier for them with bitcoin. Eventually it'll become a huge problem that will spark an international agreement on the status of cryptocurrencies, but that's a long way from now.

well i think it is really hard to predict things for now in my part i also believe bitcoin will not for ever bevause there is no  for ever in this world even people may die but i believe that if bitcoin will stop maybe there  is another coin rise and maybe it is the another new born generation of the coin which is already been upgraded on the future.i believe on this cycle im really sure on it.
