At the other end of the extreme, here's a list of highly trusted entities operating in the cryptocurrency space.

Overstock.com is highly trusted and has a great ceo supportive of crypto currency outside of just sales from overstock, see:

https://twitter.com/OverstockCEO

Good call! Now on the list, and thanks, bud.

I wouldn't want a list of good companies here because people could easily be confused and consider them bad guys because of the title....first impressions last.

I'm listing the good guys below the fold, but will reword the OP at that juncture to make sure there's no mistaken who's who. The OP is currently acting as a place to list till the website is built.

Glad to see you putting this list together Bruno.

Where the fuck you been hiding, bud?  Grin

This is a really useful list. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Thanks, bud.

Could you add the founders of KNCminer to your list? You can find their names and LinkedIn profiles at the bottom of this page: https://www.kncminer.com/pages/aboutus

You might also want to consider adding Moolah and/or "Alex Green".

KnC has been updated.

Please provide me a tad of info on Moolah/Alex Green.

what happened to TBF? or even broke pierce? Grin

Forgive me for holding off for now with your suggestions, for basically the same reason I can't put BitPay on the good guys list until the https://blockchain.info/address/1QAHVyRzkmD4j1pU5W89htZ3c6D6E7iWDs is resolved.

I also can't justifying putting the Jacobson brothers' Canadian Bitcoin Embassy and Miami Bitcoin Embassy on the list, but will be including all their Coinware companies and principals shortly.

With the exception of BitPay, at this speaking, ALL the above will probably be included on the official site to one capacity or another.

Again, with apologies.

You may want to add them here as well: https://www.bitjustice.org

On the good guys list now, and thanks, bud.

I put you at the top of the list in the OP, and will give you 100% free billing on the official site I'm building.

Could you get rid of them, please, they're bitcoin blacklisting freaks. Blacklisting the people is fine, but not the bitcoins.

Freaks? If there is nothing to be done when over a million bitcoins have been stolen then you can pretty much remove the Bitcoin chapter from the book of future.

At this penning, I have no idea as to what's being discussed, thus holding off on any actions.

Jon Montroll and these two brothers from Cyprus.

You can put TradeFortress on there as well, probably just a link to his profile will do the trick.

Requesting a tad more info on the above, though I'm more verse with TF, thus need a real name and link for the latter would suffice.

Does Andreas M. Antonopoulos have a website that hawks a bitcoin-accepting service or product so that I can include it on the good guys list?

I've added Danny Brewster, et al., to the list of bad actors.

I've added Memory Dealers to the list of good guys.

Somebody give me a good link for Ken Slaughter so that he'll be listed on the bad actors' list.

Bruce Peterson aka BCP19 for his support of BFL fraud when he knew perfectly well when shipping was NOT going to happen and then astro-turfing these forums with misrepresentations and lies about those rightly pointing out the inconsistency in the BFL Tape Out dates and deliver timelines.

Also attempting enter into bets with full knowledge of shipping dates and inside information all the while pretending to be just a "customer". That was a blatant misrepresentation in an attempt to get those bets where he knew all the BFL plans and information. Seriously that is direct fraud.

BCP19 is an asswipe and a marionette. He skims fractures of a bitcoin here and there in order to have more funds to dismantle his gargantuan size fried poultry.  Move on.

I'll put any viable address on the website. Here, I just desire a valid link to an existing entity or one I can link to via the WBM.

I'll include him if his name is currently (or most recently) linked to a Linkedin page, website, or even Facebook would suffice depicting that he works at BFL.

Added BitBrew to the good guys' list.

On the official website, I will automatically list any entity, whether they're cryptocurrency-base or not, that hires, knowingly or not, a known cryptocurrency bad actor, but will have the courtesy to notify them of my actions, only removing their name if they assure me that said person in question is no longer employed at their place of business and not mentioned in any of their literature.

Since I like BitPay, I'm adding them way below the fold on the good guys list with a caveat.

I think this should explain most of it: http://www.coindesk.com/mintpal-fight-moolah-ceo-court/

Be sure to read the pastebin from Ferdous Bhai, who is the director of the holding company that owns Mintpal. (http://pastebin.com/vKpnWQcp)

they represent a combine total in excess of a quarter billion dollars of loses to mostly working folks that were once willing to give them an opportunity to succeed, but opted to fill their own coffers instead.

The MtGOX collapse alone ate 660'000 BTC, about 0.2 billion dollars at today's price, 0.5 billion in February.

Academic interest in bitcoin only. Not owner, not trader, very skeptical of its longterm success.
