There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

This first payment will go to anyone with 15K+ in a single address but moving forward payments will only go to people staking. The Blitz Reward program is not just about rewarding holders and its also about securing the network, the Blitz network must be the most secure POS blockchain outside of the top 20 on CMC lol! Infact I'm no POS expert but it must be near impossible for a single actor to attack the Blitz network, there are only 71K for sale on the open market. I've reached 30K level now!! Is there any info on what running a BDN node will require? Will there be guides to help people set things up? Am I right in assuming each node will be hosting all of the blockchains, if yes, that would make setting up a BlitzNode quite a technical task.
I'd be interested if anyone was going to offer a paid service to help people set things up.
also, any eta when BlitzNodes & BDN will go live?

Congrats on reaching 30k! Yes to run a BDN node a VPS will be required to host it. This is to ensure uptime and that it has the resources to run the blockchains etc. The process for setting up the node is being mainstreamed so that it will be an easy install for any BDN operator. Guides will be made with simple instructions and easy steps. We will also assist any users that need help with install. As of now, we have the node limit capped at 20. We have a reserve list that we will start adding from once we need more people to run nodes. I added you to the list KennyP, you are number 4. I can't give an eta at this time but development is constantly ongoing and progress is being made. Sorry for the delay in getting this Blitz reward out! We have suffered a few technical glitches and due to the nature of the system we have no room for error. We will be sending out the reward payments manually today. We will fine tune and finalize our reward system in time for the next payment. Once again, apologies for the delay

The first Blitz Reward payment has been sent. 1.38BTC was used to market buy Blitz (20,231 in total) and sent to Blitz holders of 15K and above. This was a small reward payment to reward the Blitz investors and to test our Reward system.
