The Viral Exchange Update
TVE 2.7 will be rolling out over the next week. Rather than doing a big bang update we will be implementing the changes in stages, we are implementing this strategy to reduce the risk of introducing to many new bugs at once. 2.7 is one of the most signifcant updates to date because it will include hardcoded protection against botting and automation, mainly around twitter. Post 2.7 there will be minimum requirements for users completing Twitter actions, they will have to have changed their default profile picture and the account will have to be older than 3 weeks. These minimum protections are going to allow us to begin marketing to the Internet marketing and SEO communities for the first time, these communities will be our number 1 paying users. "Why would you wait to target these users?" you ask, because I'm a member of these communities and they love to bot and game any system they can
The first changes will be implemented tonight.
BDN Update
Over the past week we have been trying to resolve the stability issues that have plagued the BDN. These issues turned out to be far more complex than I first thought. We have rolled out some changes to the BDN code and they now appear to be resolved. If the API is still available in 24 hours then we have confirmation that its stable. The next step is to start rolling out other blockchains. Fibre will be first.
