Look on the top left under the link "Watchlist" it should say something like "Total time logged in: X hours and XX minutes."

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Yes, it shows "Total time logged in: 6 hours and 51 minutes."
But that information looks absolutely irrelevant when you search for some "reply" button.

Maybe if there is something like:

"
Total time logged in: 6 hours out of 7 hours required to post.
You posted 0 out of 5 posts in newbie section to post elsewhere.

But I can't post there yet. What do I have to do to be able to post there?

hopefully by now

Although frustrating (I'm itching to join in on the Wall Observer) I do think this is a good idea. I'm sure the forum would otherwise be flooded with spammy "Buy Bitcoins cheap here NOW" posts.

They should really have made it so that time logged in matters more than post count. Jeez.

Omg, I had to google to find out why I couldn't post anywhere.

Perhaps the greeting email should state this fact?!

You have to browse for 4 hours and make a few posts.

If you make your post in this thread, I'll quote it on the other thread for you, if you like.

Make a few posts where? I've been browsing for about a week!

Take a look here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=15958.0

Due to a mass of trolling, only established posters are able to post in non-newbie sections. You are considered "established" if you have spent 4 hours online and have made 5 posts (new topics or replies).

If you have really good posts, you can post a request for preemptive whitelisting in the appropriate topic.

For what I see, you only have 2 posts..
