 i think msvrc100.dll can run from Vista to Windows 8.1, so this wallet cannot run on an Xp machine. I can send you a link to download windows 7 basic x32bit, it's enough, let me know

Hy guys! Someone please send me a link from where i can download wallet? Links posted here when i try to install i have that error mesage "wallet is not working on windows xp: MSVRC100.dll not found" I use win 7 Thank YOU

to download wallet simply click on the image below:

to fix MSVRC100.dll you have to options:

1) download from microsoft the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package x86, then reboot and retry open wallet

2) download from here the MSVRC100.dll and put it into the same folder of Gimpcoin-qt.exe, and retry open this last one (reboot is not necessary)

I sincerly suggest you the option 1, otherwise you'll have to copy msvrc100.dll in every folder of wallets you'll download, since c++ package is always required by every qt-wallet.

it depends on connection speed, anyway not so much since we are more or less at 2 weeks from launch and blocks are every 2 minutes

Check your Gimpcoin.conf file, to contain what it says in the OP
It should be in \Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Gimpcoin directory. If it's not there, create it, and paste the whole thing into it, then restart the wallet.
Should work after.

Edit: ugh, also change the user and password to some random shit, you don't need to remember this later, so you can just type anything there, but it should be different.
Let me know how it goes.

all right but "you dont need to remember this later"... username and password are needed to SOLO mine, and it's quite important if you look at total pools hashrate compared to net hashrate.. i mean: almost all miners are mining in solo, so in this case others miners can really consider this option

this is great news anyway mate my account was hacked, hope u dont get any PM from the hacker
