Just curious if anyone is interested in buying this sort of artwork for Bitcoins...  Obviously, it doesn't have to be pokemon, it could be mario or whatever you wanted.  I am not the one who would be selling.  He's a young guy, said he didn't want to sell online because he didn't have a bank account and couldn't accept paypal.  I told him to sell for Bitcoins.  They're made out of those bead things that you heat to melt together.

So, interested?  How much would it be worth to you?

I remember perler beads from my childhood. Those pieces look great. I could possible see myself buying 1 or 2. How much do they cost?

Well, I have no idea.  It sounds like he's selling them for close to break-even, as he said he has used all of the money that he's received from selling them locally to buy more supplies.

For something the size of the creation below, what would you be willing to pay for it?  I'll pass that along, and see if it would be viable for him.

Just doing some quick looking, the boards are 5.5", so the green thing in the picture (is that a rayquaza?) is probably about 15" tall.

I have no idea for the price. Im trying to think of a way to have it shipped. They can sometimes be fragile I guess he would need to find a skinny box or take 2 pieces of card board and tap them flat around the design.

Yes that dragon is rayquaza.

edit: That bulbasaur looks great, if he wants to get rid of it. If he could make an on nom from cut the rope(not sure what pose yet) that would be cool. Too bad he is out of green perler beads :<

Might even want to put two plastic pieces between the two cardboard pieces so it can't be bent either.  Definitely fragile things to deal with...

He said items the size of the picture in the OP would be $20-$40, and it's 16" x 18", roughly.

Could you get a price on that bulbasaur if he is selling it? Hard to tell but it looks like its 1/4th of the size of the rayquaza.

He said around $8 for the bulbasaur, though I'm not sure if that includes shipping costs or not.

I could be interested in Raiden and/or Liu Kang:

What size would these come out to/how much would it cost?

I won't be so specific, but I'd definitely be interested in purchasing some of these.  Grin

Right, he's working on verifying his account here (newbie jail), then will be able to answer more questions and potentially take orders.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Intro
i am gateship the author of the Tumblr page that spike has posted. i would like to thank him for taking my post on the other forum website and using them here. i was surprised that it took like a whole day to spend 4 hours on this site (literally). first of all i want to thank you all for supporting me in my hobby of pearler bead sprites. I haven't really done much with the whole "shipping and sending" business, and I'm not sure how often i would use bitcoins, (if ever?) i just confuses my simple 15 year old mind.

About
i do sell my work but so far it has just been to people in my school who normally contact me through FaceBook or person, i normally charge 20$ just because its simpler to do and most of the requested ones use about 3,000 beads and are relatively large. i don't know how serious i will be on commissions to people i have to ship to because of the fact that A) i can't drive myself to the post office yet. B) i'm still only a freshmen in high school. (summer is on its way though.) oh, I am also easily sidetracked by things, i don't know how much of a threat games will be anymore I've cut down a bit, although i do have an untouched version of rune factory to play.

To Business
alright i have noticed and accounted for the flat rate shipping boxes, but I'm not sure if they will be more or less expensive yet. occasionally on tumblr i might make a post saying something like "bored taking suggestions" this is just so i can keep myself entertained with my hobby, and for you to see something from a game come to the real world (wow, that sounded really cheesy) i try to keep my cost's around the multiples of 5. I want to get a bank account soon, I'm not to sure about how the whole money transfer would work.

Additional Notes
you know, at first i wasn't interested in selling my art but once someone asked me for my first commission, I realized that i could self supply this and maybe make a little extra money in between. I still end up spending 20$ at the store for beads because the tubs are only worth buying if your starting out, otherwise the individual packets are better. No, i am not trying to monopolize my product, i'd be happy if i inspire others to take up beading as a pastime. i also realize that some headers out there don't make as high quality things as fast as i do but, I'm only 15 and don't really have that much else to do so i can spend a lot of time just string in my work space, well working.

Other
my work space AT MOST EVEN WITH MY BENT BOARDS is 120X90 beads/pixels so please, take that into consideration if you do request something. i have 2 bent boards at least, and each is 30x30, so that about an unstable 60x60 working space, and thats not fun to put up with. I also have to put up with the supply of my stores as well (hence not being able to make link, or my Pokèmon trees) and i was planning on ordering more of the green tonight but my dad retreated to his room beforehand so, i'll have to do that tomorrow.

So i guess i can summarize this in a thank you, i'll keep at it but just, don't expect immediate results.

Edit: @ChrisKoss, if you want that one exactly he would be they would be 61X76, also it is a .Jpg file which are annoying to do, i also prefer to do a full body sprite of the character.

What kind of file should I look for?  What's your price for 1/both?
