I appreciate what you are saying about being able to purchase bitcointalk accounts though someone would have to really go out of their way to do that just to vote for something which has no direct money value. Also imagine how many accounts they would need to purchase to make it count. So far the list has been filled with many honest, dedicated developers by a large number of reputable bitcointalk members. The process is transparent and is so far going pretty well.
