... I've officially taken this position, and I'm not placing any bids till MtGox price says 12.50.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Just teasing you, I need to open a vertex account somehow. All you Canadians start mining in the winter and selling coins cheap!

Yes Virtex does trade a few % below the MtGox price almost all the time, and the economics of Bitcoin mining are very different when the temperature outside is -30 C than when it is 30 C.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

I am pleasantly surprised with all the buying going on atm.  Nothing radical, but the slow methodical chipping away the sell orders is nice to watch.

Is it a real break out or a bull trap?

This is the question, but no way to know until it's to late.

It could also just be someone who dumped previously and, seeing there wasn't going to be a panic crash, decided to by back and wait until a higher price comes along to try again.  Why dump at $13 if you can dump at $16, right?

Well, nobody seemed to notice that buy at MTG/EUR... I have some time to take a decision or to be left behind brutally^^
