It seems people waiting for the price to drop at this point are going to be disappointed.

Always have a few dollars ready to pick up the dips... never go all in.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Seems as if my prediction was right. Some dumps, some craziness over the weekend, but by Monday morning nothing to drastic has changed.

Well, expecting something to happen, yeah. Based on the pattern, could be either way in the next 48 hours or so

I feel bitcoin has matured significantly since last year. Enough so for all the Christmas commotion to have no significant effect on the exchange rate. Hopefully I'm right.

Good thought. I've noticed a 10k bullet doesn't move the market any more.

It's grown so stable that it's almost boring. Everyday it seems to be about the same price... although it kept falling slightly these last days.

Up you go little Bitcoin! Up!

I just bought some more in the past 3 days at the avg. price of $13.05 at bitstamp so I couldn't agree more. Time for it to spike higher again!  Cheesy
