This is an excellent point. I did not think about that aspect. We see how the Feds cast their net. No fucks are given when it is time to play..we want this that, ip's names, addresses, logs, you name it we want it. Google we command you to hand over everything with 'x' in the body of every email ever...

So now the bright spark geniuses at crypsty decided to leap right in for no discernible reason whatsoever. Instead of staying under the radar and continue with their business as usual, there they are waving a big red flag screaming...do you see me, here I am! Unbelievable.

So what could very well happen, and it may be for shits and giggles on their part, or there might be a ticked off official just itching to get back at Cryptsy for whatever reason from long ago, that life chaning piece of paper is summarily sent over...

Still not sure why that shocks anyone, but whatever. If that's the straw that breaks the camel's back for you and cryptsy good for you, get out while you can, but everyone needs to calm down over the "reputation" stuff. Gox, BFL, GAW, Vircurex, and all the other scams/ripoffs in the lending/securities/mining had no to shit reputations and that didn't' stop tons of idiots from pissing away their money, not sure why people think THIS particular instance of shenanigans is going to ruin cryptsy, but whatever.

If any journalist crusader types really want to get somewhere they should push the 9/11 hashlet scam angle to Cantor. Cantor lost over 600 people that day, they have set up a serious fund that actually does stuff for 9/11 victims. Someone in that company connected to something that even smells of fraud would be bad pr for them, actual fraud would be very bad for them. I don't think that they would be happy with a company Fraser is connected with donating money to that shit charity that they did donate to instead of one of their real ones, even if all the money went there, the fact that not all the money went there could cause them to act.

Garza's gonna Garza. He appears to be a pro at this with little to no shame, so you the SEO stuff won't bother him while he's counting his money. SEO bomb Cantor/Fraser/9-11 scam and you may get somewhere. Start typing cantor fitzgerald into google, it tries to autofill 9/11 and their relief fund is a top result, they won't be happy with a whiff of fraud and it's the only way to get results besides waiting for the government (which probably won't be able to get much money back to users.)
