... 2. what will happen if i add a second fan in front of the built in one without removing it? ...
It won’t cause any damage but it's not suppose to improve the cooling by much.

What are your settings?
start volts: 1: .62 2: .62 3: .62 4: .62 Max Volts .661 max power: 1: 150 2: 175 3: 150 4: 175 Mining rates: 1229.41GH/s and 1237.13GH/s fans are both set at 20%, I had them a bit lower but temps got a little higher in my mining area recently.

I've seen a few people utilizing different voltages now... I'll have to give it a try. Thanks! Temps okay at fan speed 20?

I'm using different voltages as loop 4 always seems to run hotter than the others, so I typically run it a bit lower than the rest

No problems, but with all these boards and asics, YMMV so test it for yourself

No, it is an optimization if you use westhash, or other coin switching services

Is cgminer supposed to be upgraded automatically when the firmware is upgraded? I just performed the firmware upgrade on one of my SP20s and it still shows cgminer 4.7.0 on the dashboard page.
